Fable 2 Hero's Guild Chest Question

OK, in the Hero's Guild there is a chest that can only be opened once you do the story-game thing at www.fable2.com . My question is, does it matter how you do the story because I've heard that no matter how your story turns out, you get the same item(s) no matter how it goes. Is this true and if not, what items can you get from doing the story different and how?

I was sure it was the crown you picked at the end, which decides the item you get.
For example, clicking the middle crown should get you the chicken costume.

You have to pick the three different endings to get all the items - each crown will give a different one. So play it through three times.

you can do the story multiple times to get all the prizes. only the chicken suite is worth it really
