Okay so I've finished my school semester, I'm taking the summer semester off and I have free time. WOOT! Anyways, I bought Fable 2 and I like the game, but something about it feels a little too fake. The characters and backgrounds are a little to colorful and cartoony. I tried Oblivion and I liked it, but between graphic problems (flying chains and being attacked by air that growls -_-) and the fact that I got the feeling it would take FOREVER to achieve anything in the game, I don't think I want to spend the money to play that. As for Two Worlds, just trust me when I say it's not worth it. It's way easy to get killed and then you just suddenly reappear somewhere else, the character creation screen is pointless, the npcs are all the same guy with that sucky dialogue...just...no.

So should I stick to Fable 2? Did I just not give Oblivion enough of a chance? Or is there any other games that would be more worth it? Help, please. *begs* ^_^ Thank you.

With regards to the air that growls if I remember right there is one place where a wizard made all the creatures and people invisible. You may have wandered into that. Find something with a detect life enchantment. Oblivion does pick up after a while and of the games you've mentioned it's the one I've had the most fun with.

Give Oblivion a chance, believe me I had a harder time understanding it than you did, but I've managed to pull through and am on my fifth character, you just need to find your "Sea legs" (or just cas water walking). As for Fable II, yes the graphics have a wierd stylization but that's the point, it's not going for a realistic look and that will either work for you or not. Fable is also fairly short (about the same length as any modern shooter's main campaigne, which is too short for an RPG's main quest) but there are many side quests and there is one downloadable expansion with another on the way. If you're still looking at RPG's, might I suggest Mass Effect, it's pretty damn good and has an engaging story. Since, i don't know whether you're playing on a PC or 360, I'll suggest for both. Jade Empire is on both the PC and downloadable for 360, and is quite the fun experience. Both KotOR games are on the PC and even have mods that give back cut content for the first one, I can only hope that Team Gizka finishes the Sith Lords Restoration Project before My grandkids die.

EDIT: Oh my God... a fellow Texan!

I swear that I'm the only person on the planet who actually likes Two Worlds. It's fun. Sure, you die a fair bit if you don't dodge, and it can be pretty difficult. But something about it is just fun.

I'm not one hundred percent sure. I vaguely remember that it might have been near a gray wall but that's about it. I hadn't traveled far from the sewer when you first see daylight in the game so if it's close to that then maybe.

I cannot speak for Two Worlds but with Fable 2 and Oblivion

1) Fable 2 isn't long and it isn't ever a challenge...it also has a minor morality system for a game that is supposed to be Huge(You can never side with evil main quest characters)

2) Oblivion's main problem is lack of power you have: Creatures level up with you meaning that you cannot feel very powerful no matter what level. Dungeons are also Copypasta'd

If you're playing 360... That's a hard one. Someone has suggested Mass Effect; I agree.

Oblivion is fun, but is much better on computer. If you can get it on computer, do so. If so, PM me and I'll give you a list of some mods that I think will really improve your experience in the realms of Tamriel.

Im guessing its for 360 as you mentioned Fable2?.. If so then Mass Effect/Oblivion are good RPGs. If you have PC; Oblivion and get some mods can make the game much better, imo.
