i've bin playing the fable 2 pub games for a while now and i think i found some tips and a small guide.

THE FABLE 2 GAME TABLE
index
chapter 1.) ways to make cash
chapters 2.) strategy
chapter.3) gambler rating
chapter.4) witch which is witch
chapter 5.) debt
chapter 6.) cheatings
chapter 7.) conclusion

chapter 1.) ways to make cash

"the lucky bastard"
do get gold this way you just need to be tremendously lucky and win almost everything, this is probably the fastest way to win cash but is most likely not going to happen

"The Stone farmer"
another way to gain gold is when you play keystone, start by playing any jackpot game or the highest game you have. place as much as you can on 3 and 18 and when it hits you should make a profit, do this repeatedly to make cash. it not too fast but is a stedy reliable way to rack up gold. o and don't bet ANY cash

"Grinding bot"
this method can win you lots of cash in big swoops or can waste hours of you'r time. to do grinding bot you need to play in the tournaments, sounds easy enough, if your busy and can't pay attention do the free slots. you can sometimes win. although im not responsible for hand cramps

chapters 2.) strategy

implying strategy in the game is kind of hard, spinner box is complete luck there is 0 skill to it, while keystone and fortunes tower (miss spelling??) in keystone your best bet is not to bet, in the early tourneys this is an effective strategy but in later tourneys you need to make about 70k+ to win. and fortune's tower just is a matter of when to pull out, i usualy pull out at around 20 if possible higher.

chapter.3) gambler rating
gambler rating is what unlocks new games and more tourneys thats why its important to get high gambler rating. as the major point of the game is to win tourneys. you can get a higher gambler rating by simply playing the slots although this can cost you alot of cash it's fast and effective to a certain point.

chapter.4) witch which is witch
each game has its own purpose, although there all "ment" to earn gold you'll probaly end up losing almost 90% of the time. most of your gold will come from tourneys, all with due cause, you'll want the items they offer.any way i will now list each games purpose

spinner box: gaining gambler points

keystone: slowly building up cash yet sometimes losing

fortunes tower: both of they above

Tourneys
fortunes tower: possibly the funnest game, after you win the first table (1st place) and onto the second table you're guaranteed some gold

keystone: occasionally raking in huge sacks of golds, but getting out the arse hard on higher levels

spinner box: the hardest tourney to win because all you do is mash a and hope for the best

chapter 5.) debt
the word you'll come to hate. you aqiure debt when you take out chips for any normal game, the debt stays with you if you leave the game with less chips than you started with, in most cases this will happen, the only way to pay off debt is to get some gold, usually through tourneys. if you're planning on merging your character with your hero you should make sure you don't have any debt, or if your playing an evil character just don't mind it

Chapter 6.) cheatings
there is a bug in the game. its on fortunes tower. it can net you boat loads of cash and you have a 99.99% chance to win all the tourneys i dont suggest using the cheats. but thats just my personal opinion, onto cheating to get the cash rolling go into your highest fortunes tower game. bet the lowest amount you can then hit and and right after hit lb(left bumper) and it will make your bet the max bet
example:i put the bet on 60 that press a then lb and it only takes away 60 chips but the chips you receive are like you bet 600, you bet 60 hit lb e, lose 60 chips get a 10x profit have fun cheating

chapter 7.) conclusion
in the end fable 2 pub games can be a fun rewarding experiance if you play right if you play wrong you can end up with a mountain of debt and no way to pay it off. and if worse comes to worse you might just have to reset your character

a guide by Joseph Forbush

NOTE!!! i can not responsible for any hand diseases or cramps and/or brake age from pressing Xbox 360 controller console buttons, play at your own risk

EDIT:note i would like to make a revision to the keystone, i have bin playing for the past 3 hours and made about 5k, you do this by playing the highest betting keystone game you have then betting on 5,6,7,14,15,16,3,17 the only way this will not work is it you hit the keystones, this plan is not full proof but it is a great way to stock up on gold, and build up points.

edit no.2) i found that if you use the keystone trick to long the games programming changes to hit 10's and 11's about 60 percent of the time, i found this out when i got 10,11,10,11,10 5 times in a row, now that doesn't make any logical sense, basicaly the game is going to addapt to your play style and make you lose and cry in a corner. guess thats life

This guides not particularly helpful - you need to speel chack and use proper punctuation. I think Lionhead have been clever - making it hard for you to make loats of money, but you can if you play enough, it stop EVERYONE getting rich.

Just play a lot, and stop when you earn a profeilt - playing tournemants is helpful too, but im afriad this guide isn't very accurate or easy to understand.

Im just playing for the item - I already knowim going to be an evil will user - so why care about debt when Im gonna kill everyone?

That is pretty crap. Lionhead have taken the list of participating retailers (including Game.co.uk & Amazon.co.uk) off their site & said they posted it in good faith & will try to rectify the problem soon.

So does that sound like the retailers aren't holding up their end of the deal, or does the problem lie with Microsoft? Where shall I direct my mild annoyance?

well you cant really make a "how to" guide for this game. you can only give tips, it all comes down to chance
