Fable 2: Where the hell is my axe?

I just wanted to clear something up here as I haven't found the answer anywhere on the web.
Right, so I have just finished the Crucible for the first time in Fable 2 and have scored eight out eight of perfect rounds in it, officially making me champion. Right after I finished it a friend of mine, who happens to be a know-it-all at Fable, told me that if I scored all 8 rounds perfectly I am supposed to get a strong axe or something.

Here's the thing, after completing all 8 rounds I noticed I didn't receive any axe or weapon for that matter. I'm not whining or anything, I was only going to sell the axe anyway since I already have the legendary weapon "maelstorm", I just wanted to know why I haven't received it. There was no chest or reward screen, of this I am 100% sure. Could anyone answer me please??

If I remember rightly, a door opens up in the arena and it's in there inside a chest.
Not 100% sure on that but I distinctly remember a chest with it in. And it's worth about 16,000 gold as well.

That game bugged on me and denied me a completed quest. I even had the quest trophy to show for it, but I could not go any further.

Maybe something similar happened to you.

Where you with a friend online or playing by yourself? I remeber once a friend of mine didnt get it because he was playign with someone who had not unlocked the Crucible, making the prize at the end void.

Not 100% sure on that but I distinctly remember a chest with it in. And it's worth about 16,000 gold as well.

I didnt see one and I reloaded a previous save to make sure, I'll check again.
