I really think this game is fun.

*Spoilers*You start out as your character (duh) but, this time you get to choose your gender. You and your sister Rose is dreaming about living in Castle Fairfax. After some time in the game, you look at a trader who just happens to sell a musicbox that will grant you one single wish. Rose dosen't really belive in it, until a woman named Theresa tells her that the trader dosen't really belive in it himself, but that it's real. The musicbox costs 5 gold, so you have to do some favours in order to get the 5 gold. I don't want to tell you what you have to do, you'll find out yourself.
So, after you get the 5 gold you buy the musicbox. Rose makes a wish, witch is to move into the castle. The box starts playing music to later disappear, and make you disappointed.
Later that night some guards take you to the Castle because Lucien wants you there. After walking into his room, he asks you to walk in a circle, witch is a test to see if you and your sister are Heroes. He then realises that you are Heroes and decides to freakin' kill you and your sister. But you don't die, you are taken to some camp where you are taught by Theresa to fight and stuff..*spoiler*

The rest, find out yourself.

And yeah, shouldn't have read it if you didn't wanted me to ruin the beginning for ya.

But I REALLY like the game so far, and I would advise you to fucking get it. :)

EDIT: No, this isn't really a review. It's more a first impression.. yeah

Uh...this isn't really a review. This is like a preview of the first forty minutes of the game.

There is something about all three of these sentences that are just not right. This isn't a review. And no, you can't haz Twix.

Well, this is my first attempt.

Look at mine [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/jump/326.69960.676220], then yours, and adjust.

Nope. No mercy for first timers. If you're going to a first impressions (what I'm assuming this is), at least do a half decent job of it.

All you've done is list five or six events in the first half hour of the game. You should take more time to play the game through before writing out a review. The first half hour of tutorials is too little to go on.

Edit: And since we're linking to first time reviews, voila [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.67975].

The problem I see here is that more and more people are coming here and not understanding that the community is actually intelligent. People just assume that they can get away with stuff like this "review".

To the OP, finish the game, then review it. Do it well, without spoiling anything (that's why there are spoiler tags). Make it neat, intelligent, unbiased, and give it proper spelling and grammatical structure. When you have done this and stopped attacking people for their criticism of your 2 minute, spoiler-heavy preview, you will have a much better standing in the community.

Yeah, this really isn't a review. You can't argue with that statement, because it is true. A review is a formulation of an opinion based on the game. The closest thing to a review you come is the first sentence. The rest is basically a walkthrough. This is not the User Walkthough forum.

And while we're on the topic of doing it right first time, Boom: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.62752#531243

They want to make the game a choice between alot of things. Yet they make a linear storyline for you to follow! Its a little weird.. But im sure that the game is worth a few hours of playing!

What is the matter with you? Had a bad day? And this isn't a review, you just re-told us the beginning of the game.

It's like saying in a Devil May Cry 4 review "Uuh, Nero has this supercool arm, and Dante is badass and awesome, and they want to stop this old man, who kidnapped Nero's gurrrrlfriend!"

You didn't bring out ANY good or bad points.

PS. A review is something people can decide upon whether to buy a game, or not. How can you decide that, with the only "review" you saw told you the beginning of the story? No, you can't.

Does anybody know if there is a projected PC release of Fable 2 for the USA yet? I don't have a 360 and I can't afford to get it for one game, so I want to get it for my PC.

To be honest, this isn't really a first impression either. You're basically telling us what happens in the first few moments of the game (I presume. Curse you EU release dates!) I advise you to polish up on your grammar and have someone read it over.
Also,
And yeah, shouldn't have read it if you didn't wanted me to ruin the beginning for ya.
Should be at the beginning, so that you don't spoil it for people. My advice for you is to be more analytical, telling us about the controls, gameplay mechanics, etc. rather than giving us a walkthrough (Something Susan Arendt did very well, I might add.)
You don't want to be saying things like
This is the first damn time I take the time to write a "review". So shut it.

So I don't really care what you think.
it really turns people off, which may even cause them to avoid future reviews from you.
I can tell that you're really enthusiastic about the game, so try to improve on what I've covered and I can see you becoming a great reviewer. (I'm not trying to be condescending, just helpful. Sorry if I seem like that.)

Sorry to sound mean but-

You're posting a review on the net for people to read and basically judge. Why would you create a review if you didn't want feedback in the first place?! It defies the point of putting it on here. You either create the review and take the critism in your step or just don't make a review in the first place.

So your sister's name is Rose and your mother's is Theresa? Weren't those the same names as the first?

Wait, have you ever seen the four, together?

how long is the game?
Many many ingame hours.

Fineldar, Theresa is the old woman who trains all the "Hero's" and she's a gypsy or whatever, I haven't figured it out yet. haha
But yeah, the same names.

I can hardly grasp the stupidity in writing a spoiler and AFTER THAT writing "oh yeah you shouldn´t have read this"
Sorry man how could you think that´s a good idea?
You just recite the plot and the only "impression" you give is "it´s fun".

Yeah, I know what you mean about the community. I love this place, with its correct spelling, grammar, almost lack of fanboyism, and generally nice people. It's a huge respite from gamespot's system wars. Also, I have always wanted to know how to format html and do stuff like insert spoiler tags and italicized. Would anybody mind telling me?

And another thing, you do know there's an official Fable 2 thread right?
This, not being really worth it's own thread, should've gone there.

there is a tiny little review hidden in there if you look really close and cut out all the middle fluff. Here's an edited version....
