Fable 3: Driftwood

Simple question really:

In Fable 3 there's an achievement that reads "Establish the island of Driftwood". There's also an area on the map that I assume is the aforementioned Driftwood, but I've played this game through twice now and it's never available to travel to.

My question is...how the hell do you establish Driftwood?

In one of the towns there is a guy that wants you to pay him 750 gold to repair a bridge, once you do that wait and the bridge should be built in a few days. after, cross the bridge and you should be given a quest to kill hobbes by the villagers, once that is done wait a few more days and get the quest to find a carpenter in silverpine ( i think ). then there is a quest to lead a gambler to the island once that is done wait for it to be fully built

Green is right on target. The guy wanting the money to build the bridge is in Millfield, and the carpenter is indeed in Silverpines.
The Quests you'll need to complete are
1. Restoration (paying to build the bridge)
2. Pest Control (clear out all the hobbes on the islands)
3. Giftwood for Driftwood (deliver letter to carpenter)
(not sure if the gambler's actually needed to get the achievement, but not according to the strategy guide I've seen)
4. An Island Getaway (lead gambler from pub in Bowerstone Market to Driftwood)
