I just found some screens from the upcoming Fable game.

http://epicbattleaxe.com/image-galleries/fable-iii/

It looks kind of cool I suppose, but nothing mind-blowing.

Well, I'm still getting it. I'm the only person on earth who liked Fable 2 more than Fallout 3...not that Fallout 3 was a bad game, I just liked Fable 2 better.

Ehhhh...

I might get it, doesn't look too amazing, although let's see what Peter Monyleux says, as he's known as a very well respected and trustworthy dev.

I like the Fable series, 2 included. I'm looking forward to this one as well. I think I need to see the touch mechanic in motion, though. By the by, is the guard at the right of the last photo attacking you with a lute?!

Oh, sweet, Fable 2 is getting some new social interaction stuff.

Huh?
Whassat?

That's Fable 3? Oh... Hmmmm.
OT: Looks okay so far, but does seem to be going for the "browny depressing" look that a lot of "hardcore" games are going for. Well, I'll be interested to see how it turns out.

At least the player model doesn't look like a complete downy like in Fable 2. That's a plus. But I guess Armor has no chance of coming back. Huge minus. Hopefully they at least do evil/good armor.

Looks ok, at least he doesn't look fat like my character in Fable 2 did, despite eating non fatty foods. :(

I hope Fable 3 has more replay value, i liked Fable 2 but it got extremely boring after awhile so i gave it back in.

I'm seeing a lot this:

In those shots

Which isn't a bad thing... but considering what Molyneaux tends to do in sequels... it probably is

Not only can you have a dog follower, it seems you can take your kids out with you as well.

Maybe thats a cool thing, as you could train them up as a good follower, to do harder quests.
(Or send them out on their own adventures, and you may cross paths >:D)

Knowing Fable games though, this proabably won't happen.

Still it looks better than Fable 2.

I plan to get it.
The pic in which the hero drags a person gives me hope of no more follow.

Looks like it! I'd prefer it if it was a banjo, but ah well. That's pretty awesome, maybe you get to play them too. :p

I liked every aspect of Fable 2 apart from the combat. I hope they've improved it for Fable 3, but it looks likes they have. I shall see.

HO-LY SHIT. The graphics from some of the gameplay look great, the caves etc look alot bigger aswell. Loved the finishing moves, hope there's more and i enjoyed the information they gave.
2010 is gonna be a damn good year.

I should think it's because those screens were from the city slums.

I hope they dont go gears of war, grey and brown, with this new fable, though i think i'll end up renting it as i sold my fable 2 only a couple of months after buying it.

EDIT: just saw the F3 vid, and now i'm excited, and i know i shouldn't be 'cos it's a long wait.

Oh goody goody, now the Guards look even more ridiculous.
Whatever happened to Fable's Medieval Goodness?
Now it's turning to a more Victorian era or whatever.
Also, why is it that even though you are a King or Boss in games, you still have to do everything?

I mean, in the Godfather game, Don Corleone didn't do anything but sit around his house, but now that you're Don in GF2, you have to do EVERYTHING, but at least they give you the option to send Made Men to do the job, but that is such a buggy mess it's not worth it.
In Saint's Row 2, you are the leader of the Saints, but you must do EVERYTHING.
And now, in Fable III, you're King, and you have to do - guess what- EVERYTHING it seems.
What the hell?

they had a suit of armor that changed with your alignment in the first DLC.
