If the writing in these games was a bit better than Timmy's first essay I would give them a go. I found the stories of the latest 2 extremely bland and ridiculous.

Although, I know what my Christmas present is going to be tossed up between:
Fallout 3 for the XBox 360 (SHUT UP. No, I won't get the PC version I have a Mac, and no Windows PC's , I don't trust them anymore), or Fable III.
Might pick up a copy of Mogworld as well somewhere.

i think that fable 1 was way more fun than the sequel, the story development pulled you through the game a little better and i personally enjoyed finding all the secret items and things at the end of the game. in fable 2 i had to force myself to even complete the game let alone hunt for treasure.Deguasser said:

I'll be picking up Fable 3, sounds pretty interesting. The games have always had a quarky sense of humor. I mean you could have your dog dig up a dog treat and a condom in the same hole. Also the warrants at the beginning of the Fable 2 made me laugh. They aren't the best games, but heck, they can be fun.
Molyneux needs to shut his fucking mouth. I like the Fable games but I have been let down just a little when they both have come out because Molyneux throughout developement promises the moon to the players and then when it comes out only delivers an asteroid. Still pretty damn cool, but not as cool as the moon.
Fable 3 has a tough choice? I'll make an easy choice and not play the game. Problem solved.
Sorry but Fable 1 had potential and yet they epicly failed by making gear nearly pointless, some spells being so powerful that it breaks the game, and the always terrible black and white moral system. Fable 2 was more of the same crap and theres no way im falling for the same fake promises that peter molyneux likes the spew from his mouth.

It wouldn't surprise me if the beginning of the game involved killing a character I really don't care about.

You know Pete, I think most people were just pissed that you included the dog in the 2nd in choice. If you'd just left the little bugger out of the process altogether, it would have greatly helped (or you know, at least give us a way to get a new one).
