As much as I hated Fable II, I actually liked and still like the first game.

- Kill the expression gameplay mechanic. It's insulting to the player to try to pass it off as interaction. There were few things in Fable II that pissed me off more than one character explaining some dire situation to me, and I have only the choices to do a fist pump or a thumbs down.
- Make combat require more tact, not just a clusterf*ck where you wait for everyone to come close and use AOE lightning. Have enemies using different strategies: while 3 guys come at me with blades, another 3 are set up with long range attacks.
- Raise the stakes: sure it's annoying to die in a game and be set back to the beginning of an area, but it at least gives you reason to try to be the best fighter you can be. The whole not dying mechanic is immersion-breaking and boring.
- Where is the sense of wonder? This is a fantasy series, but everything just looks dull. Graphics are good in the game, but they are never given a chance to shine. There should be times where the player just pauses and looks at what he is approaching.
- Make the story priority and omnipresent. Fable II involved people being taken from their lives and forced to live years of hard labor, but this fact never seems to dawn on the citizens of Albion. Make the story feel important, the villain a real threat, and don't let us forget it.
- Don't keep the player in the dark. From Fable II, what did we learn? There was a bad man who wanted to build a spire. We know he had lost his family, but that doesn't explain why he feels its fine to kill off others' families, or what was his motivation in building the spire. Who was Theresa? Why did she want the spire. Any decision a major NPC made in Fable II just seems to happen in a vacuum. By the time the game ends, we know nothing more than we knew at the beginning. It makes the whole game feel meaningless.

i would like molyneux to keep some of his promises for one.
2- have the dog change his shape depending on your alignment like he promised last game.
3- better looking clothes, and more awesome looking swords. stuff like that weapon alignment system thing hes talking about, i want a weapon that changes as you gain strength, maybe it starts as a puny dagger goes to a cool looking spikes sword with spikes and ridges all over, then end with a big ass uber looking 20 foot long sword that you can swing along and never get trouble from enemies again...... until you have to loot their corpses strewn 20 feet in front of you.
4- the purple furry hat pimps got, and you have to be able to cover you sword hilt and stuff in gold chains and pimp medallions. 4 teh lulz. had to.

EDIT -Ooh, I've got another one, a more serious tone. Not like, super gritty and serious, but less silliness, it ruined the mood in the game sometimes. END EDIT
That's all I can think of for now.

No, the humour of the game was one of my favourite parts, and Molyneux is good at silly.

Less focus on 'sexy time' and more on game play would be nice.

Epic bosses, it's a fantasy game, I want to see towering giants trampling on peasants not rock men with glowing worms that you have to shoot.

I would like to see the shadow council return in a more sinister way.

Other heroes would be nice, heroes that are more bad-ass than you. Then you have something to take pride in when you do finally wear them as a suit.

I don't know about yo guys but I was bathing in glee when Jack of Blades kicked the bucket and only wished that I was able to tea bag him. He was too awesome for my liking.

Simple, Bigger towns, Longer game, HEAPS! of clothes or create your own, HEAPS more weapons or again being able to be a black smith, and no dlc that costs money because very few people buy it, they just move on to the next best thing

I actually liked Jack as a villain. Most of the characters in the first game were just more compelling period.

For it not to suck!
Zing!

But seriously, I hope your spells evolve and that I can become a necromancer.
Having an "evolved" spell which turns dead enemies into zombies or something that makes me feel like a good puppet master.

You forgot to mention that the co-op will have no fixed camera and both players will be able to imports their character weapons and dogs.

I would like more character models Fable and Fable 2 were lacking in variety.

My wishlist for Fable 3 is to have the game mysteriously and inexplicably aborted just before it's finished and then never talked about again.

Fable two was the very defination of fail in a videogame. So here are a few things that need to be improved.
*gameplay variation: The tree boss was annoying and broke the flow of the game completly. Realistically sure I would never rush a tree monster that could crush me in a instant but make them interesting to fight! Sitting back and shootinh at them took forever and resluted in a nonepic boss fight.
*Dog: When I initailly saw the game in a monthly issue of game informer I was excited by the idea of having several dog breeds available but sadly there was only one breed. You should be able to select what breed your dog will be and maybe even raise one of your dogs puppies if you really wanted a different breed.
*Family: Make them matter in the game besides killing them off at the last second becuase honestly I loved my dog more then my stupid wife or child. Also I should never see five perfect copies of my wife running around when the developer could have at least changed thier clothing. It completly breaks immmersion when five copies of the wife run by and then two copies of my daughter are standing in front of me both shouting "daddy".
Interactions: The expression gameplay mechanic was a poor excuse for a dailogue system. Stop being lazy and write real interactions at least.
cloths: When I orginally started playing the game I thought there was a wide selection cloths avaiable however I soon discovered that was not true. Having only 10-20 pieces of clothing for males is not unacceptable and honestly is just lazy.

I want the games moral choice system to... be more elaborate. It seemed as simple as I KILL U!, or I BEAT SHIT OUT U AND TAKE LUNCH MONEY in Fable and in Fable 2 it was more like MONEY MONEY MONEY vs. Other people other people other people. I would imgine Downtrodden Albion citizens who were loyalists in the Revolution like "oh man, we lost Auroran colonies" type thing. (Aurora is mentioned in the See the Future DLC).I want melee combat to to be equal to the others cos it made ranged and magic feel bad and punched them in the stomach. Seriously, I had to use my sword or i would turn into a cannibal's dinner in the old games. Balverine gameplay would be nice. Maybe having our children get turned into Hobbes if we're careless. Have the sex system to be a little more... err realistic. Put a little more detail into family budget. Maybe marriage to fellow heroes so they can kick ass with you. Tell the jobs to go to hell. BRING BACK THE SWORD OF AEONS! Honestly i don't care if you have to glue it back together with saliva and chewing tobacco. I want my sword powerful enough to assrape God up the ass by raising it in the air back! Have the Knight of Blades (look him up.) skullfuck your old character in a cutscene where Albion burns and you lose everything. Project Natal sounds like a good idea but you'll probably to play on a treadmill though. There is all my suggestions, Peter maybe you can incorporate those while your not masturbating to Lady grey giving your character designed to look like you a blow job

Lucien wanted revenge on you for ruining his plans for the Spire, which gave infinite power which he was going to use to resurrect his family. Instead he was going to use it to make himself king of Albion. Theresa is your sister in Fable. She had enough power in the Will to sustain her life and survive a blow from the Sword of Aeons. She wanted the Spire to heighten her ability to see the future.

I actually quite liked the first game (raises flame shield) but I felt that there is a lot of room for improvement. Such as:

1- The ability to dual wield pistols or go gun/sword, that is fairly sweet

2- Better legendary weapons

3- Reaver, end of

4- unarmed combat, low damage with the advantage of being fast and having slow but amazingflourishes (throws, one handed neck lift/crush, etc, etc, etc)

5- the ability to climb through broken windows

6- For my charecter to not have some kind of force field around him that means nothing gets on his stupid face. If I shoot someone point blank, I want blood on my face.

7- A better crime system, I know that when people want to know who killed the stylist and ransacked her shop they will arrest the new demon in town, but I want to frame people.

8- More weapons (daggers, staves, steampunk chainsaw and sticks o' dynamite)

How about some actual depth?
Every thing I did felt very hollow in Fable 2. Hell, even raising a family, spending all my gold on them, and then slaughtering everyone (my family and everyone innocent civillian in sight didn't) make me the least excited.
Make magic and ranged suck less. I don't want to be a warrior EVERY SINGLE PLAYTHROUGH.

Safe to say that I'm not buying Fable 3 unless these things improve.

No Natal.

A bit more subtlety in moral choices - far too Black and White for my liking....
I see what you did there, very clever.

A less hideous engine, some of fable 2 looked god awful.
