Considering it's been eleven pages I highly doubt no-one else mentioned this.
But I only just realised that it's Ron Glass doing the voice of Garth.
I spent ages thinking "Man that guy has an awesome voice"
I only realised this morning why it sounded so familiar.
Stephen Fry is Reaver. :D

I liked reavers performance but was dissapointed that he sounded gay. Not that I have anything about that, but I though he was going to sound like a bad-ass pirate, not an ass pirate. (just to clarify, I have absolutley nothing against gay people.)

Was anyone else impressed by
The choices in the spire? They were clear cut, but the way you had to choose: Evil points and experience, or good points and loss of experience, realy impressed me. I felt it was very effective.
Yeah, I still feel guilty about
Choosing to save my own ass. But I needed the experiance real bad...

To be fair, Reaver *was* an ass pirate.

I know, and I still liked his character and the effort that the voice actor put forth, but I was expecting a more jack sparrow-y person. Also,
In the castle fairfax quest, after I got a sex change, why can I still marry women?... (btw, I went from man--->woman)

Because the women might be bisexual? Just a thought.

No, it says straight on their stats. Only seems to work with women that loved me from before, though...

But, yeah, rifles are fairly poor, in my opinion - too slow on the reload, complete lack of style, and is no where near as badass as a turret pistol.
Lies! Lies I say! Upgrade your speed enough and they reload in moments, get sub targeting and they have ultimate style. Also, I hate the turret guns. Don't know why. Love the look, but the low damage+long reload makes them nearly useless as offensive weapons.
Depends what you are using it for, I suppose - I've found that turret weapons are much more effective at keeping enemies at bay; it's no use having a powerful rifle if Spire Guards are wailing on you.

Also, by the time you have full speed and sub-targeting, you're far, far into the game - so yes, I suppose at that point you could get a rifle...or you could get the legendary pistol from the shooting contest.
ARRG, I knew that you got the ledgendary pistol from the shooting range, why did I stop when there was only 13 more points for me to get?

I know how you feel. I only found out yesterday while watching the "making of" video that Zoë Wanamaker [http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0910738/] did the voice of Theresa. I will never look at her (Theresa) the same way again.

Master Flintrock=> Better then anything else. Twice the damage of a clockwork rifle with just a .9th of a second reload. Subtargeting the head always yeilds headshots and I could easily take down a banshee just by doing that. No zoom, She go boom.

But the clockwork can squeeze of a lot of shots fast, which is great for just spraying across an advancing hobbe horde to spread some pain.

That said, nothing beats a hammer and a bellow of hate.

Hammers. They Are The Fear Of God.

Really, cause I was sure with dodge and Daichi I could beat you 9 times out of 10...

Daichi: Not the fear of god, what god would fear even more if he could comprehend the awesome of that weapon.

It's a shame really. They could have tried making more weapons on the level of the Daichi. What is it, 92.0 damage with a Fast attack speed and 3 augments? ;s I'd have liked at least a cutlass to be on-par with it. I reckon they mucked up the whole Legendary weapon thing to begin with. Should've made em the strongest weapons in the game, all pretty much equal, and all hard to get.

94, I think.

Someone a page or two back asked what the differences between lighting and fire were, targeted fire has splash damage at high levels. (Maybe at low levels too, but not enough to make a difference) Lightning...Well, I can't really say because I don't use it much, but I'm pretty sure it's a little more powerful.

The Enforcer is a rifle? I thought it was like a mini-cannon/shotgun or something, the way the shot spreads out like it does. It has really short range, too, and I was under the impression that rifles had the longest range.

To be fair, the Hammerthyst is extremely easy to get. I just wish it was worth more.

Another Daichi fanboy eh?

I'll admit, tis a beast of a weapon, but there is much skill in a hammer that spamming ye old katana lacks. Oh, sure its great for slitting up your opponent, but does it have the same visceral Roar? As bullet time displays that massive hammer-head meeting 4 bandit heads at once, can you say the Daichi matches it in sheer and utter monstrous brutality? Accounting for reach, flourish chains and enemy positioning makes truly mastering the hammer the smart mans game.

The Daichi? Beat that X button like the 'I Win' button it is and point your character at the foe. There's no need for any more skill.

I also wish there were more 'ultra' weapons than the Daichi, as i feel betrayed that the legendary hammer is suitable as a doorstop only. Skill users can rejoice, but the average barbarian is forced to make do with a two augment master hammer.

Oh, wait, thats awesome.

This is not an attack on the Daichi, its so powerful that you don't need any skill. Ironically.

Ask and ye shall receive UltraJoe. Complete the Crucible with 8 perfect rounds and you get Ye Olde Beste Axe Ever!
It's not the best you can get, but the only way to get better is to buy a masterwork weapon and augment the crap out of it.
Ever tried to take out a troll in 1:50 when you've spent the game swinging a lump of rock on a stick?

I went and grabbed the Red Dragon and got it eventually. I like the Chopper.

Daichi = fastest sword, best sword at that if you have your speed maxed.
Red Dragon = most powerful pistol. Seriously, speed and damage are amazing.
Enforcer = most powerful riffle. Seriously, you can go through the crucible taking minimal damage with it if you have sub targeting. Not to mention it boasts 177 damage.
Hammerthyst = worst legendary weapon.
Maelsomething or another = that sword you get from the Shadow Temple. All the Spire guards carry it.
That's all you really need to know about the legendary weapons that matter.
Details on where to find the red dragon?
