Nice! I liked Fable 1, it was a fun little game. I'm still hoping they might port Fable 2 over to the PC as well. Heck, it wouldn't be a bad hype machine to get people interested in Fable 3. Let's face it, that exclusive sold all the consoles it was going to, they'd be better off cashing in on the PC market...

My first thought, when this was just speculation, still stands: what happens to the Natal features in the Windows port? Is it stuff that can be done with a mouse? Will the features just disappear? Will the features be optional on the 360 version as well? Will Molyneux's Everlasting Hyperbole machine ever stop generating grand exagerations?

Probably because they wanted to add it to the 360's exclusive library. This is a good announcement though, hopefully Microsoft will continue to remember their often ignored GfW platform.
Yeah...
I'm sure they'll get right on that... after they're done setting up a snow-shoveling business in hell.
Well, for one, Dante's Inferno details the 9th Circle (Betrayal) as an Icy Waste, where traitors are encased in varying depths. So, shovel sales may actually be a lucrative business in hell.

That having been said, given PC's are still by far, the largest install base. One merely needs to look at WoW to see if you can actually get their attention and draw in even a fraction of them, you'll have yourself the biggest revenue builder of all-time.
Yeah... but Microsoft has gotten too cocky to make good business decisions.

Cool, now I can pirate it and not waste money on a game that will probably be a disappointment.

Now I can get it off Steam.
Sadly not. Only way to download it legally is from Games for Windows Live.
And if its anything like trying to get Fallout 3's DLC, you'd be better off buying a physical copy.

I really hope it's better than 2. I was kind of relieved that it wasn't on PC after I watched a friend play it. They will learn from their mistakes, right? Right?

I rather liked Fable 1! It wasn't as amazing as Molyneux claimed it would be, but as a long-time PC gamer I'm kinda used to taking his rants for the dreams they are and so wasn't nearly as disappointed as I hear some people were with the game. It had a charming fairy-tale style vibe to it I found endearing, and I liked the way your character would change according to how you played the game.

Bit weird how they skipped 2 then released 3 though. I'd figured 1 was a bust on the PC so they ditched the idea of porting the games over. Apparently not.

Fine with me either way, I might end up picking it up!
