Okay, so I got Fable 2 a while ago and completed it. To cut this bit short I'll just say that it was just "alright".
But a little bit ago my girlfriend was round and she wanted to play a game, which is rare because she's not that interested/good at games. Unfortunately for me she reached over and put Fable 2 in.. now this is where it turned bad. She didn't want to just play it, she wanted me to play it with her.. because despite the game being "Press X to win" with the occasional "slow time + lightning", she would die on certain bits.
As some of you may know, Fable 2 is a "co-op" game... as such, so off we go. So I'm following her with my henchman and I realise (or, remember) that the game is just a case of following the golden trail and pressing X.. lenghened ten-fold by that freaking dog barking every 5 seconds about a digspot or treasure. As some of you may also have noticed; you're pretty much attached to the main character with a very short leash.. constantly causing camera issues and getting you both stuck very often. Mix the two together and you have the 2 players following the path, dog barks, girlfriend goes to follow dog, I get stuck, we both backpeddle, dig up that 100 well-deserved gold... set off on the path again, dog barks, repeat. Then all the stops to do gestures towards the NPCs.. the jobs.. the family.. it sends you insane.
What a terrible co-op mode. Has anyone else had to endure this?
