This article shows signs of when you?re getting to far in Facebook. My question is simple, Are we getting addicted to Facebook, and is this an actual issue

It's just one of the MSN today topics that shouldn't mean anything to anyone, how many times have they done "Top 25 Coolest Cars" or "What Women Actually Want" .. It's all a matter of opinion.

OT I suppose: No, it's a social networking site, thus for social purposes so whats wrong with updating your status etc. The "Cyber Friends" bit confused me with the why not text or call .. well that costs money. Oh and it's not an issue.

Of course.

But what make me angry is how at my news station, this is their way of getting mondern:

"Is there a such thing as Facebook addiction? Follow up on us on Facebook or twitter..."

Yes, they said this right after another.

Facebook is a tool though, how it used is depending on the user.

Some of us are, but not me. Pretty soon they're gonna need rehab for facebookers. The worst problem is twitter, although I get a couple good laughs with what people do with twitter.

I think it could be a useful tool but people are going way over the top with it. I swear some people live on the damn thing, i couldn't imagine spending more than 10 minutes on there.

I'm guilty for a couple of them.

But how exactly does forgetting you friends b-days if its not on FB make you addicted? Are some people addicted to calendars?

Or how about talking to your friends on facebook more than real life? No shit, I mean, c'mon, on FB or through texting we can talk whenever we want. Does this make me addicted to phone calls?

You've ever updated your status while sitting on the loo? I mean, I do plenty of things on the toilet. I've read on the toilet, I've written on the toilet, I've watched TV on the toilet. I mean, c'mon.

I may be a little addicted to facebook, but thats because its a social hub for interaction. It would be like if I lost my phone.

I have Facebook in another tab right now.

Nope, I'm getting addicted to this site however.

Its like facebook but with interesting people as opposed to boring updates about who is having coffee at the moment.

I use this site and Facebook just as much as each other. I can also go without both for long periods of time. Addiction is for losers.

Word.
