This is my attempt at being nice(I know major shock because we all know I'm not nice) However, my little brother needs more friends on Facebook and wants them to play World at War on Facebook with him. Alternatively, anyone who is on Kongregate or Heroes of Gaia, he is on there as well.

That's sweet of you and all, but you should tell your brother that thinking that people are actually friends for sending you a friend invite over some random social networking thing while you know nothing about them is completely invalid.

Also, having a load of people on your friends list that you don't know anything about and yet feel that it makes the person in question somehow popular or important is a serious sign of being delusional.

I don't really think your sense of self-worth should be determined by how many Facebook friends you have. Anyone I add as a friend on that is someone who I know fairly well. As a result, my friends list does not stretch into the hundreds. Do I mind? Hell no.

Pretty much. Ever hear of Farmville? It's a Facebook app. Mafia Wars? Facebook app. I use mine solely for communication, and in that context, it's one of the best things that ever happened to the 'tubes, IMO.

True, twitter is as evil as facebook. However, I've never been on twitter and I don't even know what it looks like.
