Whatever. It's high school. Get over it, because it doesn't matter one whit in the long run or the real world.
I'm not sure if anyone else has said this, but you could very easily have sex with this girl. She wants her opinion to both matter to you and be damaging, which means in an odd way she has an emotional investment. In my experience, just about every girl that has tried to hurt a guy's feelings in this way ended up sleeping with him not too long after if he played his cards right. Never been there personally but I've seen it many times.
This is literally why I don't have facebook. It's just arguments arguments arguments. But anyway, 'everyone in the year' not liking you, probably consists of two of her friends, who judging by your description, isn't very nice either. Being in Year 10 Secondary School, I know people like this, and they won't be laughing when you succeed in life and they don't.Machiavellian007 said:

Oooohwah! It is facebook. When and where else can you apply Newton's third law of verbal motion(to every action, there is always opposed an equal reaction)? It's good place for a comeback. But you can listen to what others have said above me. Comebacks have timing as well. If you wait too long to deliver it, it seems like you were thinking about it too much. Loses flavor.
Three words haters gonna hate besides if your in year ten it's only like a year before you leave school and by that point she will wind up pregnant by some guy she met in a club she managed to sneak into with some relatives passport. But honestly just let it go keep being yourself because she is the one in future will be living of benifits while your working towards a career and a better life for yourself.

Ignore it and move on your way. She may just want to grab attention, or she may be seriously saying something. If you are hurt by it, think it over and see if you can see any truth behind the insults. If not, well still ignore it.
I have several points to add to the above mentioned:
-People of facebook tend to be directer because of the "internet effect". Basically she feels save behind her pc so she just lets it all air out.
-I don't understand why you even added her on facebook if she's a: "slut" and an "asshole". Also you calling her that kind of makes you sound like the bad guy.
I know you aren't going to change because of anyone in this thread or that girl, but maybe pay attention to yourself. Maybe you are in some ways resembling what she made you out to be.

I honestly have never had an argument on my facebook (Despite a post with my girlfriend who wouldn't tell me if she was breaking up with me), and I have owned mine for over 3 years. That IS, however, childish and pointless, depends on how bored you are. Yet I still think that if you don't put some sense into people like this they'll only get it the hard way. You're doing it for a good cause.

She's probably just hunting for attention, and people have posted much worse on that site. Simply by ignoring her, you have proven yourself to be better than her.
