Facebook Reaches One Billion Active Users

This week i had a conversation with a fellow student. I told her that my hobby is internet and she immediately asked for my facebook profile. as i said i have no facebook profile she looked confused and asked "is there something more to internet than facebook?". and this is a person working on masters degree. So looks like we cant just claim only the stupid people sue facebok anymore

I feel like that number is a bit misleading. I'm sure many people have alternate accounts. I personally have two accounts at the moment. So the number will probably be a lot less than 1 billion different people on facebook.
