This week i had a conversation with a fellow student. I told her that my hobby is internet and she immediately asked for my facebook profile. as i said i have no facebook profile she looked confused and asked "is there something more to internet than facebook?". and this is a person working on masters degree. So looks like we cant just claim only the stupid people sue facebok anymore :(

When they say "Active account", does the one I made purely to get free gold for Tribes Ascend count?

I feel like that number is a bit misleading. I'm sure many people have alternate accounts. I personally have two accounts at the moment. So the number will probably be a lot less than 1 billion different people on facebook.

Still that's a BIG number...
A Billion, maybe, lets see how it stacks up: 1,000,000,000 = billion

The distance from pluto to the earth is on average 3,718,232,290 Miles away

Our Sun is about 4,600,000,000 years old

The Tape storage alone at the library of congress has 4,832,000,000 megabytes of data

An barrel of oil contains 6,100,000,000 Joules of energy

The universe is 13,600,000,000 years old

The worlds biomass of krill is on average 248,000,000,000 kg

There is an estimated 200,000,000,000 to 400,000,000,000 stars in the milky way

The Internet has an estimated 5,000,000,000,000 megabytes of data

A light year is 5,865,696,000,000 Miles long

The nearest star is 17,597,088,000,000 Miles Away

You have around 46 - 68 Trillion cells in your body

Still I understand what you were saying, 1 Billion people; 1/7 of the worlds population. Thats crazy.

I'm not quite sure what the point of your post was but I am slightly amused nonetheless

I wonder how they were able to calculate the krill, exactly...

Do you think this has anything to do with the statements made saying anyone who does not have a facebook account should be branded a psychopath and potential terrorist?
