FADE DRM

I was doing some research into ARMA 2 and I found out it used a DRM system that more or less eats at the game over time. In effect it makes it so your accuracy is horrible and can apparently turn you into a seagull. It also greys out menus and other whatnot.

What the kicker is that I dont think it ever properly got cracked. So what we have is a DRM system that doesnt limit you but stop pirates. If anyone has any more information this little system is a very curious thing and I would love to have more information on it then just people complaning about glitches and finding out its the DRM system.

It was first introduced with Operation Flashpoint way back in the days. Now, they've probably updated it for ArmA and ArmA2, but I am fairly certain the OfP version of FADE was cracked fairly quickly. That's pretty much all I know about it and that it never caused me any problems with my legitimate copy of Operation Flashpoint.
