Every day. But, there is nothing you can do but get past it. If you just continue with your day, you will feel a bit better. I won't say that suppressing these emotions is the best idea, but its better than letting them eat at you all day, day after day.

Dude, Move away from home.
If your parents say your a failure at life because you can't shovel snow they are VERY nasty people and should be avoided. God knows what kind of mental scaring you've got already.
Run away. There's no shame in it.

ok i'm 30 and i OWN my own home so thats ok, trouble is I still work at Blockbuster and rely on overtime, unlike Blocky in america the british arm is doing o.k thanks to pre-owned games and game rentals and we dont do to shabby on consoles either so i'm probably unlikely to be unemployed...

but heres the thing... i'm a graduate, admittedly in film studies so hardly a great qualification but i do wonder if i should have done more so perhaps i am a failiure?!
Dude, I'm a maths and computer science graduate who used to work at mcdonalds after graduating, how do you think I felt during that time? T.T

Failure is a part of life, it's what you do with it that matters. Take it as a learning experience, things do improve.

Simple grow up, get a job, keep a nice clean record, get a education and get a job. And when you have a kid who turns sixteen, don't slam down on them. Recall what it was like when you were sixteen and see it failed to help you and it will fail to help your kid. Cook a nice meal for your date, get a movie to watch. Cut up some strawberries in a heart or something and show you care. Cliche? Maybe but worked for me more time than blowing a hundred bucks at a snobby overpriced black tie affair.

Pssh, I don't fail I learn how to beat life. When the other person is not looking take some of their money and slide you car up 4 spaces. Oh, and don't forget to shout redo evertime you get a bad spin.

Oh wait real life, yea I sucked up bad there.

Once, when my husband and I were pretty broke for our anniversary, he took some crayons and drew flowers on a sheet of paper. Then he rolled the paper into a cylinder and stuck the cylinder in a vase. Another time, for christmas, he went to the library and borrowed some books that he knew I would like and wrapped them up for presents. Conventional presents are very nice, but this kind of putting thought and caring into making something out of nothing, just to please the one you love... thats romantic.

Failure is a part of life. Just like death, it WILL happen, it's innevitable, so don't look at it like it's a bad thing. Don't feel bad, every day is a new day, a new chance to make things right and make yourself happy and a better person. Find ways around your problems, think about them, relax, and just feel good about yourself. You're not a failure if you do what makes you happy, and never let anyone tell you otherwise.

Without failure there can't be success.

So, let's see it this way:
If you "fail" a lot now, you'll most likely have a more successful life ahead of you.
I have hope yet

Don't let other people tell you what you are. Only your opinion should matter. If you think your a failure get a friend to smack you and take you out drinking.

That was both very unfair and uncalled thing to say on your parents' part

I work at Starbucks, and while I love what I do, I feel like a failure sometimes because I haven't started college yet at age 23.

However, i'm taking steps toward fixing that, and toward making of my life what I wish. So maybe I'm not a failure, but just human.
