I'm just super excited about the second season of Haikyuu and Noragami. All the other shows don't look interesting to me at all, though I may try One Punch man if I'm desperate.

- 1. Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka second season?

Yay! More cute girls doing cute things! Not sarcasm! I find it relaxing and cathartic!

And I- wait, what?

- 2. Aria is getting a second season? ...Seriously? ...It was really meh. Barely remember a thing about it.

- 3. A new gatari? Owarimonogatari? I'm down. Give it to me, Shaft. Right in my face holes.

- 4. YURU YURI SEASON 3! YES. YEEEEEES. MOIST. YEEEEEE- Ahem. I'm kind of pleased.

And a few others look kinda interesting, but there seems to be a "knight" and "magic" theme running here this fall.

Also, ecchi. Yay.

I've not seen a good anime since Madoka. Everything recently seems awful. Giant naked Titans where the story just seems to spin its wheels forever or yet another harem anime with monster girls.
Check out Ping Pong The animation

I will say, the lack of harems is quite surprising. Usually there is a good three or so per season. Maybe a new king is taking over.
AniChart has 3 tagged(though one is reverse), and Testament is a harem despite not being tagged as one. Still feels like less than usual but not by a lot.

Unlike many it seems, I enjoyed Hidan no Aria so I am interested to see where this goes.

Shows I plan on trying/watching:
Gakusen Toshi Asterisk
Hidan no Aria AA
Ore ga Ojou-sama
Rakudai
Testament
Subete ga F
Valkyrie Drive
Taimadou Gakuen 35
Onsen Yousei Hakone-chan
Owarimonogatari(Maybe, I am a couple seasons(?) back and would need to catch up)

Wow, this Fall is looking rather barren in terms of interesting shows. Which is OK 'cause it gives me time to catch up on my ever-growing backlog. There are only three shows I'm even remotely excited about here:

One Punch Man: I've heard good things about the manga, the style looks interesting, the concept could be great if properly exploited, and at first glance there aren't any of the usual anime tropes.
Gundam: Giant robots in space is half the reason I started watching anime in the first place. Sadly the genre is rather underrepresented these days. Even if the plot is crud, there should at least be some good mecha on mecha action since, well, Gundam.
Garo S2: I loved season one of this show; great action, amazing atmosphere and animation, good characters, and a gritty western fantasy setting. I'm disappointed that it's not following the characters from the first season and that the setting has moved from Europe to Japan, but if its anything like the first in terms of overall quality I'm totally down for it!

There's a new original Bones anime with the same director and series composer as Full Metal Alchemist. I'm going to watch that. Otherwise I might watch Heavy Object because I found Index fun, and I'll likely try everything before giving up on all of it and binging what people say is good when the season ends.

Brave Beats seems novel, One Punch Man seems neat, and Peeping Life seems cool.

Everything else seems totally boring, and I probably won't watch any of the ones I'm interested in either.

Yeah, no-fuck anything else that isn't One Punch Man. As a fan of the manga, it's the only show this year I'm remotely interested.

This season got me back into anime, looks like fall's season will make me stop watching it again. Oh well, at least Gundam will be good.

The One Punch Man manga is drawn by a top notch manga artist, but the actual source material is some guys crapily drawn web comic. So awesome amateur writing & ideas with top notch art/animation and production quality, fuck yeah!

Ajin:Shoudou, Gyakusatsu Kikan and Shisha no Teikoku look pretty cool to me. The animation also looks beautiful in those promotional videos. Still hoping for an anime adaptation of Biomega one day. :p

Did I just hear a "lack of harems"?
Fuck. YEAH!

*Insert kill guitar riff*

As for what I look forward to...
- Noragami Aragoto.
- Young Black Jack (?).
- Rakudai Kishi no Eiyuutan (?).
- Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru.
- Owari no Seraph: Nagoya Kessen-hen.
- One Punch Man (?).
- Heavy Object (?).
- Concrete Revolutio: Choujin Gensou (?).
- Comet Lucifer (?).

As you can see, I'm uncertain about many of these. So I'll try them out, and possibly drop them.
For the ones not marked, they are a certain watch from me.

I'm curious, people have been saying that this season is barren for them. What makes you in particular say so?

I'm disappointed Gate didn't continue into to this season, as I'm now only left with a few series to watch.
Namely Rakudai, Owarimonogatari and Ore ga Oujo-sama.

Pretty boring lineup, for me personally, compared to the last season.

In terms of series, only Gundam seems like it will be anything more than the same old. Hopefully it does better than the last one.

Some of the films might be interesting, specifically Empire of Corpses, Harmony, Gyakusatsu Kikan.

Other than that, seems like a poor season again. Just like the last.

Like I said, this season's shows got me back into anime. I pretty much lost all interest in anime aside from Gundam a few years ago.
