Maybe now that this doublepack is releasing certain retailers (*cough cough* BestBuy) will get their act together and lower the price on the Fallout 3 GOTY edition that I STILL haven't played yet T.T
What's wrong with Mothership Zeta? I thought it was a pretty good DLC. Well, except for the fact that it completely unbalanced the game by making ultra-powerful weapons available from the start, but if you don't like that aspect, you can just wait until you've beaten the main game to start DLC, like I did.Akisa said:Thou shall not talk about Mothership Zeta! So it's really 4 DLC. ;p
Games for Windows is fine, it's Games for Windows Live that turns games into unplayable messes.ritchards said:Games for Windows? Not interested...
Oblivion GOTY works on Windows 7 64 Bit but sometimes it crashes on exit, not a huge problem as it doesn't crash during gameplay (atleast not for me). I am not sure about Oblivion Vanilla.blurredplacebo said:Is the PC version actually playable on windows 7? Or is it going to be like when I bought it retail then look it up on their forums where it's essentially said windows 7 wasn't released when the game was released so we are not supporting it
This. Plus I'd be willing to be they didn't strip the DRM from FO3, anyway. Honestly, are they nuts?Akisa said:Wow I lost interest as soon as it said no DLC are included.
Pretty sure FO3 has/had that, too (otherwise this [http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=1086] would have no reason to exist).fanklok said:Games for Windows is fine, it's Games for Windows Live that turns games into unplayable messes.ritchards said:Games for Windows? Not interested...
Brilliant! They ARE nutsCrono1973 said:Something to consider is that the Oblivion DLC cannot be purchased on PC anymore. You either buy the GOTY edition or you don't get the DLC.
Well actually Mothership Zeta hinted at reconning the great war, by saying...uncanny474 said:What's wrong with Mothership Zeta? I thought it was a pretty good DLC. EDIT: OT: Oh, forgot that I have to say something on the topic...
Um...
I guess I'll harp on the lack of DLC like everyone else.
Fallout 3 GOTY is about 20 bucks pre-owned at Gamestop. Oblivion is the same. So, that's 40 bucks total.
The DLC for Fallout 3 costs 10 dollars per DLC, and the ending of that game is pathetic without at LEAST Broken Steel. Add that to the 30 bucks for the game itself, and you get... 40 dollars!
So basically, just bite the bullet and shell out for the GOTY of each, because you're really not saving any money with this double-pack.
Huh. If that's true, that would turn the canon into a total cluster****. Must have missed that message.Akisa said:Well actually Mothership Zeta hinted at reconning the great war, by saying...
the Aliens stole launch codes for warhead(or at least attempted). So they're saying it was humanity (USA and China)fault for the current state of the world, but instead it was the aliens.
That and I was hinting at the person's possible reason for claiming there is only 4 DLC.
