Yes, reload your save. If that doesn't work then maybe you should try pushing her up to the right area. Sometimes bethesda characters get hung up on a piece of the environment and won't proceed to their goal. I've noticed this a lot.

Then you are screwed. Your disk is most likely scratched or something. On PC, you would just need to write in commands to reset the npcs.

To be fair thats a bit dark just to say he's screwed. Maybe you could try shooting her until she becomes unconcious...

I'm just repeating the most common answer given to these types of problems on the Bethesda forums. But he should try anything he can before he tries to get a replacement disk.

its most likely broken steel itself what does the disc have to do with the addon...? so try reinstalling the addon as a last resort. first try resetting the npc by knocking them unconcious if that doesnt work try pushing the npc up and into and see if it triggers. if it doesnt trigger its a bug with the addon if it does the npc simply got stuck. i am sure its not your disk. so if its the addon do this. delete broken steel. load your save. then reinstall and see if it works after that if the ansewer is no then i guess it is your disc or gamedata.

I found a hilarious glitch in a new file with Broken Steel downloaded (and completed in a previous file; PC version) - sometimes Three Dog talks about how the Brotherhood kicked the Enclave out of Project Purity two weeks ago and set up shop dispensing clean water to the Wastes, all while I'm on the way to meet up with daddy.

ya thats a common one three dog gains the ability to see the future if you install broken steel i guess. i had a time where i got out of the vault and he was going on about what a nice gal i was for helping the brotherhood.

First rule of Bethesda games: save every 10-20 minutes when doing something new.
Second rule of Bethesda games: either keep all saves or only the 10-15 most recent.
Somewhat related: do not depend on auto-save or save over older saves when playing any Bethesda game that uses the Oblivion engine.(overwriting older saves can corrupt your save)

On-topic: I hope you have a recent save before the last auto-save. Because you'll have to load that save and hope you won't get the bug again.

I found the glitch where you drag a bunch of corpses to the final room in the broken steel Enclave base, walk through the door so Lyons comes to get you on the vertibird then walk back in the room. All the gear on the corpses respawns so you get infinite Enclave gear.

thats a bit much i save every hour or so you seem to just be really paranoid. the game isnt as buggy as you think o_O and overwriting never corrupts unless you interrupt it. if your on the pc you really have nothing to fear as the console can fix almost anything 360 prob save before you install addons. @http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Broken_Steel_bugs here is a bug list.

I totally thought this was going to be about how dogmeat can get hit by the fatman 20 times before dying

I saved Oblivion every 10 minutes, I have replaced the autosave in this game with manual saves. To save myself from any bug and because both games refuse to clear RAM properly, so in an hour playtime my RAM is 95% full. When 100% is reached the game crashes.

overwriting never corrupts unless you interrupt it.
It did on Oblivion without getting interrupted, and Fallout uses the same engine so I'm not going to take any risk.

The console just replaces loading an earlier save, and since I use a controller to play this game the only time I use the console is to cheat.
