Yesterday I bought the 2nd add-on pack for Fo3 (the one with Broken Steel and Point Lookout) for PC. So far so good.

Got it home, updated the game, and installed the expansions from the DVD, opened fallout 3, walked around, opened door to Megaton, PC blue screened, I raged, tried again, same thing happened, I raged some more, looked on internet, found nothing of much use, came on here and asked you guys if you have any clue what the fuck is up with my game and why opening any door or using fast travel makes me get the Blue Screen of Death.

The end.

Well, do you?

Its anywhere. If I open a door that requires a loading screen, or fast travel, then BAM! Blue Screen of Death. And yeah, I'm pretty sure I have updated everything that needs updating. I have version 1.7 I think, and GFWL - in it's infinite wisdom - made me download several bits and bobs before it would let me play...

Indeed it is.
w00t thanks. I'll try that now.

Edit: It doesn't seem to have worked :(

Does it have and DRM or anything limiting my installs? Cos I might try the time honored reinstall, but I dont particularly want to loose an install...

Edit 2: I re installed and it's all ok. thanks for the help :D

That's the safest way to handle any problem.
Haha, yeah I nuked Megaton in my evil profile. Not before I had massacred everyone in the town though :D
