I'm currently playing through Fallout 3 for the first time. It's awesome, and all, but I need to know how much does (all) DLC Cost? And is it worth the money?

Its worth everypenny, The only let down of the 5 is Mothership Zeta.

Its very linear with a short story, but what annoys me most is that the devs. thought they could make up for this with BFG style weapons which I think is just a cheap get out.

Cant wait till Fallout 4 and New Vegas *cringes*
C'mon, New Vegas is being made by a lotta the original developers, it'll be like a carton of sweet cream surrounded by mixing bowls full of porridge.

Bad metaphor, but I'm REALLY hungry.

The Pitt and Operation Anchorage are the only two I've played, I both think their worth it, although Operation Anchorage felt kind of... slow.

I think they're all worth it. Some are better than others for sure but the bottom line is Fallout 3 is great, the DLC packs are more Fallout 3, so Great + More Great = Great squared.

i would instantly say yes...although I have not played them.

But I love the Fallout 3 game itself-the atmosphere is delievered so correctly for me and the game's optimistic but sad feel holds a close spot in my heart.
Made even worse by the fact tha tI had to trade it in because my laptop simply cannot run it at very...enjoyable speeds.

I would go for the DLC if you like Fallout 3 enough to want to extend it, plus there are numerous advantages-new mutants, new guns, new characters, new locales, new stories, new adventures, and new items and a higher level cap.

In my opion they're all worth the money. When I get my new PC I will be getting Fallout 3 back and all the DlCs, which will all be on disc by then.

Broken Steel and Point Lookout are must buys.
The others don't quite add as much to the game; though they will be worth it when they drop in price.

I've never played the DLC, but I've heard great things about it and I'll definitely buy the PS3 DLC when it's released.

If you don't already own some of the DLC, you should sell Fallout 3 and wait for the Game of the Year edition to come out. It is set to release this fall and will come with all 5 DLC for the same price as Fallout 3 is currently.

Otherwise it costs roughly 10$ per DLC.

Yes, because otherwise, with ALL DLC and the $60 game it would be:
about $110.

I believe they are around $10 each, and I was pleased with all of them. If you are really into the game, then you'll probably be really into the DLC.

50 bucks for all 5 DLCs... I got Fallout 3 on my birthday, so it was free... So in the end, I basically paid full price for my present anyway. Still worth it, though.

If you have only one choice, get the broken steel if only for the level cap increase. But I'd get all of them but be warned, they are very hard to rate, as some people like some and others hate them. I enjoyed operation anchorage yet alot of people said it's rubbish. So be prepared to take a risk, but it is utimatly worth one playthrough.

Take it from someone who has bought every sigle dlc
Buy Broken Steel and Point Lookout
Thye are by far the best, most useful overall and worth the money
Anchorage was short and Mothership was dull

I'd say that they're worth the money, but you'd probably be better off waiting for the GOTY edition and saving some money.

Broken steel is very good, and Anchorage is good if you want the indestructible armour and gauss gun.
I don't have the others.

Sorry, I think you misunderstood me......or I wasnt clear enough

I CANT WAIT!!! I regularly check The Vault Wiki for new info on both projects!!

But yeah, bad metaphor. I enjoy neither cream nor porridge im afraid. LoL
Sorry, I was tired and hungry when I read your message, so I wasn't at my best.

It was such a bad metaphor, it was in fact a simile.
