Bethesda's has this thing with making a Game of the Year Edition for The Edler Scrolls games where they combine all the extra content for the game and release it towards the end of the year. They've done this with Fallout 3. It contains the orginal game and five "add-on packs"; Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta. The orginal game is on one disc and the add-ons are on another. They've been having problems with the 2nd disc not beening able to load the setup page on PC automatically on all the discs. It says in the booklet to open the disc drive and run setup.exe but the windows "My Computer" freezes and resets due to the disc. I'm not sure if Apple computers are having this problem...

edit: http://support.bethsoft.com/eng/resolution.asp?sid=011537091215058165081197&pid=400000032&pnm=Fallout+3&seid=400000083&pos=Windows+Vista&top=Installation&rid=400001679

They've seem to fixed it on Vist and XP but what about Windows 7.

Did you run the patch on the disk. Your meant to run that before installing the add-ons.
I've tried that...
Well then I'm out of ideas. Write an angry email perhaps?
Done that and then some....
Well then, the next logical step is to take hostages and demand a fix for the problem.
I might be able to help with that...

When Bethesda is bored they break DLC. Can anyone suggest some hobbies for them since the Fallout 3 DLC has been consistently buggy.

Testing. That seems like a good hobby so the rest of us can play the damn game.

You have the option to pirate it. I, on the other hand, bought it for the PS3, where it went from a perfectly fine game on original release to a piece of shit that runs at 5 FPS and freezes the console every 10 minutes with the DLC's installed. And they have fixed nothing. If I didn't live in essentially a third world country, I would sue. The way things are however, I will just have to promise the fine folks at Bethesda that I will be pirating ALL their games from now on until the end of time. Amen.

I'll take the cake when they actually take this hobby up.
