Ok so I installed Fallout 3 on my PC running windows 7 and when I try to load it up, a black screen just shows up and I eventually ctrl alt delete to get out and a message tells me it has stopped working. I need help!

Ok first things first: have you checked to see if your computer will even run the game? I mean, Fallout 3 is pretty heavy on the specs. Check www.canyourunit.com and go to Fallout 3 and see if you can run it.

Well yeah then you can't run it. You're going to have to upgrade. Sorry, you can't run it if you failed.

Well i failed WOW also and I run that perfectly fine...I have a better graphics card that I'm too lazy to put in. Would that fix it?

Well it wouldn't hurt to put in that new graphics card. Actually, I passed Team Fortress 2 so I went out and bought it and then it didn't work. But I bought a new graphics card and it works just fine. And even if it doesn't fix your problem, it is always good to upgrade your hardware.

Isn't Windows 7 a leaked Beta? Betas are full of unfixed issues so that might be your problem.

I find it funny that two threads "fallout 3 help" were made within 8 minutes of each other lol.

What is your graphics card and have you updated it's drivers?

If putting in the new graphics card doesn't work, try running Fallout in compatability mode.
