Pretty much this.

There's also a holotape near a drainpipe detailing a man's intention to hide out with his wife and child in a drainpipe. When you enter the drainpipe itself, you come to a small hideout with two skeletons lying against a wall of sandbags. The child is nowhere to be found.

Realising what happened to Gary 23 made me a little worried about what would happen if I didn't survive O:A. Then I stumbled onto Vault 108... yeah.
Damn you... i was just about to post a video of the amazing fuck you door

Ninja'D
you did get ninja'd but in the two towers ther theres a boarded door with a crack and if you look behind it theres a fucking huge teddy bear.
Now thats news to me.. got any youtube video proof?
Just go into the station and you'll see a boarded up room on the ground floor, the teddy is behind it. If your wondering where it is, it's just east of Fort Constantine, the only Satt Comm area with three dishes, you'll see it from miles away.

Time to put the Fallout disk back in the PS3 and have a little adventure, cheers

Yay!

Just head anywhere near the north-west of the map, you'll see it easily.

Now I wanna play F3 again...

Stumbling into a house and going upstairs to find a double bed with two skeletons lying on it, clinging onto each other.
Really sad.

I found this burnt out house (I think it was near Megaton) that had in its mail box a rejection letter from Vault-Tec. "We're sorry, but you haven't been chosen for vault entry" and all that. Inside the house was a skeleton... with a pistol next to its head.

Edit: Also, there's a house further into DC, that has a deactivated Mr Handy in it. Next to it is a console with a list of commands. If you tell it to go to the Supermarket, it will go to the bordered up building down the street, and assuming it hasn't been destroyed wander home after a while. If you tell it to feed the dog, it goes out back to where a forlorn dog house, bowl and dog skeleton are lying. It will then snap and attack you.

If you tell it to 'Red Bedtime Poem', it will go to a bedroom. A children's bedroom, with two little skeletons in a bunk bed. It will then read to these two skeletons a poem about how the earth would just forget us if we were to disappear.

My favorite gun in the game... never leave megaton without it.

My first stop as a new character is always the Republic of Dave, especially since I figured out how to acquire it from him without violence!

This is one of the things i hope Obsidian gets right for Fallout: NV. The little things and stories you find randomly make the world seem more alive, some are even funny. Like the guy you find underground in Broken Steel who tried to use a motor bike and snapped his neck and was left hanging.
You haven't played old Fallout games have you?

Without violence? I'm sorry.. but why??
The republic of dave is clearly there to be wiped out with a few mini-nukes?
Or is that just my lust for blood taking over?

I was walking along just minding my own business when i hear the familiar roar of a super mutant. I only needed a little bit of exp to level up so naturally i whip out my sniper and look down the scope. But when i focus on my target it comes up green. It's so strange, so i run up to the super mutant thinking its so kind of glitch when it says i think Uncle something and i can talk to him. So when i talk to him i find out that he is one of the only 2 friendly and social super mutants in the wasteland. It was really cool to finally talk to a super mutant and see him walk off into the sunset

That would be Uncle Leo, he's a random encounter.

I almost shot his ass down too, but was glad I didn't when he was so amicable and gave me free shit.

Well it sounds like your right.. those perks really arn't worth it though..
Escpecially everything you kill is pretty much raiders (Bad dudes that appently dont have ears) or is it fingers.. i honestly don't know which way around it is..

I'd also like to add my character is perfect :) everything is at max (Oh yes) Skills and Specials

Thanks to the Level 30 expansion

That really took the piss to do..

Me too!

It really did take the piss.

I had to actually be a super nerd and write down the order of areas to go and things to do, along with where to find all the relevant skill books.

Was it worth it to have all stats maxed out?

I guess so... kind of. Not.

And yeah, both those perks are crap, because by the time you get them you're usually swimming in caps anyway.

Has she got any good loot?, I'm a pacifist so I try not to kill in games....

Yeah I'm a pussy.
Me too

I'm currently playing as a superhero, complete with the antagonizer's suit (renamed myself "Ambush Ant")

I go around beating the shit out of evil doers with my bare hands (though I sometimes use the shock baton)

Yup, i remeber writing down all the perks i wanted and their requirments..
As i started with 10 intelligence to maximise my amount of points..
So the character was pretty shit.. untill the end that is! :D

Did you max everything to 80 find bobble heads and books
And.. use the perk to get everything to 9 an then find bobbleheads by any chance?

If so.. your cool, just like me!

I used the scrap metal glich to do it first.. just to sort out exaclty how i wanted my dude that still took a few hours though..

LMAO, Ambush Ant, beware evil doers! ...brilliant.

Mines called ShitC*nt, the previous wanderer I used was called PissFuck.... which is funny when you get the Contract out on you by Talon Company.

No, in fact you've got one up on me because I only have 4 SPECIALs maxed, but all skills at 100.

I basically just went and got every skill book I knew of first, then Bobbleheads, then graduallly maxed everything out by levelling.

It took like 40 hours, and then I was able to start the game for real, hah!

It's kinda stupid how fast you level up in F3 though.

In the Germantown police station there is skeleton which has glitched itself into a wall. Freaked the shit out of me cos its arms were still flaying themselves around on one side of the wall,I stepped through the arms as a joke and I actually started taking damage!
