So I went through the game this time with some things I was wondering about, and this time I decided to reap all the benefits of Megaton then kill everyone I can there, after that I went to GNR and put a live grenade in Three Dog, all this just to test to see what would happen. Now I'm getting to point where you're about to meet your father again and I want to raise my karma again to at least neutral, so far I did the Gray Ditch quest and I killed everyone in Paradise Falls, before I slaughtered everyone at Megaton my karma was very good and I had gotten the settler who gives you free stuff everytime she gets to you, just for laughs I killed her first and then proceeded with the rest of Megaton.

So is there anything else I can do to raise it? I want to see how your father would react because I remember when you have very good karma he compliments you on disarming the bomb in Megaton.

Give purified water to homeless people. Easiest (though may take a while) way to get good karma and is infinite use assuming you don't kill them and are patient enough to let your robot recharge.

Outside Tenpenny Tower, Megaton, and Rivet City there are three wastlanders who if you give them purified water will give you karma.

Donate money to the church at river city. There are probably other ways but that's one easy way of doing things :)

The easiest is to donate caps to Saint Monica Church in Rivet City.

Others include;

Giving Scrap Metal to the Water Purifier guy (Walther?) for free
Giving purified water to the Homeless people outside Megaton, Rivet City and Tenpenny Tower (easy because your robot butler in My Megaton Home/Tenpenny Tower Suite gives you free purified water)

quickest/most cost effective is definitely donating purified water, as noted above. otherwise, simply killing a ton of raiders (which you'll do anyway) will raise your karma. in fact, raiders were the hardest thing about trying to play evil in that game. i'd kill too many raiders without murdering/enslaving someone and i'd be back up to neutral.
