hey all, another dumb tech problem probably easily solved by the common monkey:
i used to have fallout 3 for pc, but in all my moving around llast year i lost the game disc. however, i still had the case and therefore the LIVE code. seeing as i didnt have the disc i copied it from a mate, and i was wondering if there was some way to change the LIVE code i copied with the game to my own, because its not letting me on LIVE
_UPDATE ON THE CRASHING THING-
i give up. i've tried every fix that the internet offered. I played with my codecs, turned everything down, updated my drivers, made sure it only runs on one core, used Skullptura's fix, got all the DLC, and nothing. still crashes like a mother beast. does anyone else out there know anymore fixes? im desperate, school holidays has just started and im out of games...
-'Nuther update-
i think -knock wood reeeaaaal hard- that i fixed it. found a fix on the net that was to do with a multi core com, and its a whopping 2 lines in the .ini file, been playing for a but and it works...for now
