Hai guise,

I'm just about done with Oblivion for a while, and I am about to embark upon a huge 100% quest completion and map completion run of Fallout 3, including all 5 DLC's.

Now I love the mod OOO for oblivion. I want something like it for my Fallout. I know overhauls exist, but which seems to mesh the best, add cool and balanced stuff, as well as some godly weapons if you got the stones to go after them?

Been a while since I wanted to play this game, and I honestly can't wait to get back into it. but I would like an overhaul, nah, I think I really NEED an overhaul, as the vanilla version is just so... plain to me anymore.

So, anything that can keep me immersed in Fallout 3 until New Vegas arrives?

Since you want to get the achievements, you can't use anything with FOSE (FOSE is considered a cheat by GFWL, and therefore disables achievements), so you're in the same boat as me.

1: Fellout: You'll never want to go outside at night again. In-game or in real life.

2: EVE + EVE: Operation Anchorage: Completely redoes the look, sounds and appearance of the energy weapons and their firing, and it re-does explosions too. Makes for much awesome.

3: Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch: Duh.

4: Street Lights: Adds a variety of stree lighting to D.C. Works awesome with Fellout.

5: Advanced Combat Effects: Makes it so that being injured actually has a discerable effect, on both you and the enemy.

6: Realistic Death Physics: No more cartwheeling enemies after shooting them with a 10mm Pistol.

Fellout removes the green tint from the whole game, making it much more desert-like, as well as doing things like touching up the water to make it not so shit.

And then it makes the night more realistic. Generally darker nights, dependant on cloud cover and moonlight.

And then there will be those nights. Those blackest of nights, where you go see absolutely nothing other than then the tiny pinpricks of light of a city,, your Pip-Boy, muzzle flash or energy weapons being fired. You could take out a Missile Launcher or a Tesla Cannon, and only be able see the little red lights on the side or the blue energy in the tube.

A Super Mutant Behemoth could be winding up to punch you in the face, and you wouldn't even know it until it hit you.

It also affects the targetting of enemies too, but some will stil turn on their AI Aimbots at times, making for interesting fights.

The Cube Experiment mod is very fun. It adds a new quest which has great puzzles, weapons story, and atmosphere. It is by far the best fallout 3 quest mod.

Also if you are a fan of the movie it is based on then it is a must.

I've actually had 5 of these installed in the past, all but the last one. But what I am specifically looking for is an all-in-one overhaul package, so to speak, much like OOO or FCOM was for Oblivion.
