If you get Moira to stop writing the Wasteland Survival Guide by talking her out of it, you get a perk that makes enemies critical hit-chance fall dramatically.
Not a very useful perk, so it's probably not worth it...
What can I say, I prefer the Survival Guru perk and to instead invest in the traveling merchants...Chipperz said:Far more useful is her expanded inventory, larger stockpile of caps and shiney new 75% repair abilityGoldenRaz said:Hhm, the only perk that I can think of that you only get by being mean is the "Dream Crusher" or whatever it's called.

I just can't do that. For some reason, I really like that Nova character.Topher_1 said:The perk is that you get to be an evil bastard. Isn't that perk enough?
I tried being good. But as soon as I was in the virtual reality world, I just couldn't resist doing the little girls bidding and slaughtering the lot of 'em. Oh, and before that, I couldn't resist blowing the shit out of that little city. That was fun.
Same goes for Fallout 3. I free slaves, kill slavers, help Ghouls, talk rather than kill. I dunno what it is. Bad habit. I just got my hands on Oblivion. I might start out evil for a change and see how it goes.Vampire_Hermes said:I tend to play a good guy, and sometimes go with what I think the character (who has said the things in the game so far) would say. I tend to develop the character in my head outside the game. When there are things I abhor in real life, I won't have my character (even an evil character) do them. An example is the racism in Mass Effect. I just wouldn't do it, despite being on my evil playthrough.
Did you defuse the bomb in Megaton? Wether you difuse it or set it off highly determines if you're good or evil during the rest of the game. Really hard to undo the karma. Only (well, best) way to be nuetral is to leave the bomb alone.About To Crash said:For some reason I found it nearly impossible to be neutral, so I think that's where the real challenge lies. I mean, I'd take anything that wasn't nailed down, and I'd eat anyone I killed, but still had positive karma. So far as I know, nothing changes in that respect based on gender, but contract killer is a lot of fun combined with sandman.
K, my last point, and believe me when I say I've been saving the best 'til last...GoldenRaz said:What can I say, I prefer the Survival Guru perk and to instead invest in the traveling merchants...Chipperz said:Far more useful is her expanded inventory, larger stockpile of caps and shiney new 75% repair abilityGoldenRaz said:Hhm, the only perk that I can think of that you only get by being mean is the "Dream Crusher" or whatever it's called.
