Fallout 3 PS3 question

Hey guys, I was wondering if it is possible to obtain the available updates for Fallout 3 on the PS3 in a separate download format and apply them through a USB disk or something, since my PS3 is not connected to the internet presently. I looked around a bit but wasn't able to find anything about it.

I doubt it, unless you pirate it. The disk will be available soonish though. Are they even out on PS3 yet?

I don't mean the DLC's, just the patches for the game.

The updates are not yet available for the PS3 in any form. They'll be out on disc sometime after the July download- Mothership Zeta- has been released I believe (But I'm not 100% sure since I own the game on 360).

Check with local retailers and see if they can offer you a more solid date.

EDIT: I saw after posting this that you were talking about something entirely differnt. Sorry, but I have no idea if that would work or not.

Guys, again, I don't mean the DLC. Just the patches for the original, version 1.0 game, that update it to 1.4 or 1.5 or whatever, and add trophies and stuff.

I could be wrong. But I heard they had no inclination to sort out the PS3 version. If we do see the GotYE, it will probably be part of it. But Bethesda have been pretty fucking shocking in their support for the PS3 considering it was pretty well supported by the community.

As for your problem. The PS3 and 360 work completely differently, so any patch for one would not correspond with the other. So a resounding 'NO!', or we'd all be doing it.

I apologize for the complete idiocy of these board members, Carnageth. They seem to think that you want the updates from the xbox versions. I understand what you mean.

Sadly, what you seek to do is not possible. But if you are connected to the internet on your computer, just connect the internet cable to the back of your ps3 and you'd be set!
