mabye in the size of the map but i feel that the DLCs put together dwarf the Isles.Hubilub said:Shivering Isles was bigger than all of Fallout 3's DLC's put together.
SACRILGE!! But here are the resons for you and the other oafs out theirKed said:I have just finished playing Fallout 3, and as I write this the credits are rolling on the screen next to me, but I'm sitting here wondering what all the hype was about, I thought the game was pretty dull, it had some decent parts and the first few initial sections were quite interesting but after about halfway through I lost intrest in the game. Compared to Oblivion, Fallout 3 was a waste of my time.
I was just wondering though, did i miss somthing?
And what do you think was better Fallout 3 or Oblivion?
I did do quite a few side quests but they turned out to be pretty gash. The whole enviroment put me of fallout alltogther i think.TheEngineer said:Did you just do the main storyline. You can go everywhere locating all sites, do all the side quests. And download the DLC to add fun to it Fallout 3 is an amazing game. To me Oblivion was a boring mind fuck..it bored me to no end.
for me it was the other way round, I played Fallout 3 first and got horribly bored with it just from my character choices, then about a year later i played Oblivion and had the same realisation that "if i like this so much why dont i like the other one" but unfortunately Fallout paled in comparisonsaintchristopher said:See, when I played Oblivion for the first time, i couldn't get into it.
When i played Fallout 3 for the first time, i immediately got hooked into it.
Which made me think, "wait, this is essentially the same thing as Oblivion; why didn't I like that?"
So I went back and played Oblivion again, and guess what?
I love that now, too.
So without Fallout 3, I would never have appreciated Oblivion. So I owe Fallout more.
Well Anchorage had a redeming factor. An armory full of game breaking weapons/armor, and you could take all of it without consiquence. *Stares at steath suit and winterized T51B) Although Zeta was pisss poor. I mean BBBAAADDD. no real story, re-skinned versions of previous and notably better weapons.... (The achievements looked perty though)Jaranja said:Fallout 3. Oblivion bored me quickly. Also, Fallout 3 had a very good atmosphere about it. The DLC's weren't that good, however. *Stares at Anchorage and Zeta*
