Fallout 3 WTF moments...

hm, i was sneaking up on an Enclave Camp, where i experienced two of the weirdest glitches i've ever seen.

First off was the Flying Deathclaws, and the second was, i killed a soldier and the officer, but another soldier had himself an out of body experience, running around invisible and unable to be killed while his body would not take damage and was lying on the ground fifty yards away from where the shots were coming from. I tried everything to kill him(shot the body on the ground, shot the Fat-Man at the source of the shots, NOTHING.

I just finished Operation Anchorage and decided to slaughter the whole base because my game kept glitching out when you had to talk to the final Chinese guy, it wouldn't go to "cut scene" mode and then the text wouldn't come up, after like 200 quick loads it finally went through and I got out of the simulation. So as retaliation for that frustration, I threw bottle cap mines all over the place, ran into the weapons room and planned to watch a hilarious slaughter of the brotherhood, instead it slaughtered the members who were going to mutiny and the girl runs up and is like thanks for saving us and I was like....yea planned that all along...I'll be going now...

I challenge that with the Haunted Hotel from VoTM: Bloodlines, it was amazingly scary for its time and had really fcked up moments.

Just remembered another WTF moment of mine...
I was wandering the wasteland and suddenly I came across Fort Independence (For those of you that don't know it's a Brotherhood Outcast outpost) and I started giving them the technology. At one point I decided "I want mah stuff back!" and killed the person with all the tech. I got ALL the stuff back at FULL condition! My Alien Blaster was starting to break, and i decided to not pay caps to fix it. But when i gave it to him, a new talk option came up saying "We're even now right, we're cool?" in which case he gives you a grudging "yeah, i'd say yeah, yeah" and then i killed him. But because i'd followed that particular talk pattern, none of the other outcasts killed me. So i took his key, strolled in killing anyone who had something i liked and looted the place to hell. Also has a secret weapon called the Miss Launcher for those interested.

mine was i was in paradise falls and i just made the deal with the gun shop owner to get him 30 chinese assault rifles and me and charon exited the shop and all of the people in paradise falls started to attack me luckily for me i was lvl 20 with a crap load of health with 100% outcast armour and so did charon and i had the unique gattling laser (cant remember the name) and i had given charon Eugene(unique gattling gun) we killed every 1 but still y did they all attack me it was random

I was wandering through the Wasteland one time, just looking for junk to sell to add to my fortunes. I stopped at an abandoned shack to raid it. Just as I'd finished looting the place, I turn around and there's a freaking Deathclaw behind me. I proceeded to nearly shit myself, and then run the hell out of there.

I shot Princess (the little s*** she is ) but she didn't die. Just realized that kids cant be killed.

so I downloaded an add-on which allows me to kill kids! Woohoo..!
man that was some funny stuff.

and this is from a guy who has never ever killed a megaton settler. Or a Person in Rivet city.
Except that chem addict, I didn't know the Psycho I gave him was going to kill him I swear!

Just playing through the first time, minding my own business, when WTF?!? Game ending. Came so quickly out of nowhere.

So true. I was really shocked about how short the main story was (especially considering you can accidentally cut huge parts out due to exploration).

I enjoyed it much more on my second play-through when I explored everywhere.

The ending was also...Damn it sucked. Fawkes giving me some bullshit about "destiny" wasn't helping either...Damn, serious bullshit ending. Rest of the game was pretty cool though. Does Broken Steel alter the ending somehow? I haven't really paid attention to Fallout 3's expansions that much, didn't seem that interesting to me.

Agreed, the ending was terrible, which is a shame because the rest of the game was awesome.

I am not sure what expansion but one of them changes the ending so that rather than dying you go into a coma and it continues from there. Cap also goes up to 30.

i was in the weapon shop basement of paradise falls with my evil bastard character, when a chair found it funny to attach itself to my leg. i tried brushing it off on the wall and only succeeded in attaching it to my shoulder and stretching it across the room. managed to brush it off onto the gun salesmans face, leaving it their as he now looks like a pyramid head dropout ^^

also the republic of Dave. generally.

I shot a missile at a Super Mutant's leg, and he jumped over it. There was also the rocket powered Yao Guai. He left all of his limbs behind. Hooray for glitches.

In Broken Steel you can send Fawkes in to do it. Or send Sarah Lyons, or even yourself.. you won't die anyway.

3 possibilities but has the same outcome. You and Sarah Lyons get into a coma even being outside. You wake up after two weeks, she hasn't.

Broken Steel is a pretty neat add-on, gets ur lvl cap to 30, probably 5 more hours of gameplay with random encounters,and srsly who doesn't like random encounters?. Although some of the perks are downright lame.

e.g. at level 22 you can choose perks that can change your karma level to Evil, Neutral, or Good... Well whoop-dee fkin doo ..

I like the Puppies! perk though so when Dogmeat dies, a dog from Dogmeat's litter will be waiting outside vault 101 after a few days and it replaces Dogmeat as a companion.

I don't remember where I was, but it wasn't from any DLC, just the original game.

Anyways, I blasted a few raiders, and the blood spurt from one of them glitched into a ball of floating blood. I could walk around it and everything, I found it terribly amusing. Took pictures, dunno where they went. :[

This happen to anyone else?

not exactly this but i've had bits of body and blood floating around...

also sometimes if i shot things they would fly off and the limbs would bend and stretch ridiculously...

also sometimes when going to the subway stations fawkes would be stuck upto his middle in the ground...
