Fallout 3 WTF moments...

You find him already decapitated when you enter the basement.
He also holds the key to most disappointing treasure trove in the game.

Sounds like a lie matey, i've been there. Gibson is dead 24/7.

I shot a mini nuke out at a group of cars, super big explosion, I went "Yaaay", nothing special. Suddenly like 5 other cars not to far away exploded, I suddenly got loads of xp and saw a behemoth doing the weird ass deathclaw fight yet thing in the air .

My Fallout 3 WTF moment its when I was screwing around not far away from the Jury Street Metro Station.

I was just walking around when later I find this destroyed train and I see this shopping cart with a teddy bear inside. So just for the hell of it, I take the teddy bear and I keep walking.

Then all of the sudden, I get attacked by a Super Mutant Behemoth, then I die in less than a minute because I wasn't prepared for that.


I guess the Behemoth wanted his Teddy back.

My latest save is at that exact point. The Behemoth is supposed to be there, I had the same wtf moment.

That's what actually triggers the spawning of that behemoth. Either take the bear or stay there for a while.

Incredibly stretched (but live) deathclaws. Stretched for about 2 Km, and moving at me with lag speed.

1. After beating the Pitt i came back to my house and all of the lockers and desk were empty.

2. Ran into multiple Enclave before even completing Following in his footsteps quest.

3. Left the building that you get the Lucky Shades, in turned to see a group of Talon Mercs spawn and two Deathclaws spawn fighting a Sentrybot.

4. The one girl who takes over as chief of security in Rivet City if Harkness leaves said he was gone, yet he was standing in the market.

5. Just a funny one, I was watching my brother play and he got to the Outcast Base that the Raiders attack. He shot one that was all the way back while he was behind the sandbags at the fort. Guy explodes due to bloody mess. about 30 seconds later, he looked down and his eye rolled right up to him.

I got a few, but theyre not glitches.
One was on... damnit I forgot the name of the place. The town on the north full of Deathclaws. On one of the expansions you're suppose to go in the sewers to do... something I cant remember as well. Anyway in there you see 2 ghouls running away from the place. Later you see a bunch of dead ghouls, friendly ghouls actually.
It seemed they wanted to expand their reach and decided to make other towns for ghouls like Underworld. THey decided to place a new town... beneath the Deathclaw infested town... the logic was no one would set foot in that town so they were protected... and stupid I guess.
That was one WTF moment for me.

Another one was on a factory to the south... south west I believe. A bunch of ghouls held up in there. When you get down to the basement you got to kill CHINESE GHOULS. If that couldnt make me go WTF well they were all adoring and worshiping an obelisk or something down there. Dont ask why the hell they worshiped it, or even less why they're chinese, I guess it was an invasion plan but they got stuck... but why the worshiping of an obelisk?
WTF?!

There were others, like the time I took an armor called Sexy Underwear (I placed it on, it wasnt that sexy though, although I felt pretty, Hahaha... I need a woman) and suddenly a bandit comes up to me saying he wants the sexy underwear else he will kill me. Of course I blasted his head off with a shotgun because there could only be one sexy man in the wasteland, but that pretty much made me go WTF.

Today I was just wandering around, when suddenly three super mutants brutes charged towards me. No big deal. I just went into to VATS, but then a random wastelander came out of nowhere and started beating the super mutants down with a tire iron. Then when I exited VATS the wastelander exploded.

EDIT: After reloading a save several times in order to kill mutants before the wastelander came, I found that this person is rigged to explode. Odd, to say the least.

I used mister sandman on someone. I think it was on clover. And i Quickly looted her body. Apparently she decided to haunt me because her floating dead corpse exactly the same way i killed her followed me around for 1/2hr. Oddly i could not select her to move her or loot but noone seemed to noticed this dead naked body floating behind me. Then the screen went wasteland green and killed the 360 with the 3 red ring of death. I did save the console but never saw my floating friend again *sob*

Just playing through the first time, minding my own business, when WTF?!? Game ending. Came so quickly out of nowhere.

I've seen this in a few games... all which seem to have a common cause: Being rushed out by marketing!

I hate when it happens, when your playing along and about half way through where a normal game would be your suddenly pushed into a 'rush rush rush' mode and the game suddenly ends half a hour or so after that. This makes me blink and then swear to high heaven about marketing fools who want to just make a buck as fast as possible that they sacrifice plot and story to do so!

I often ***** about half the locations in Fallout 3 being 'exploring only.' That is you NEVER will come up to them unless your an explorer, wanting to see everything in the game. I must wonder at this point, as I have before, if there maybe was main plot that was meant to happen within these spots but was removed so the company could put the game out a few months sooner then need be.

Walking across the wasteland, turn around to discover Charon has disappeared. I figure he'll catch up, so keep going. After about 10 minutes, I get a message telling me he's dead.

Now, I should point out that this is AFTER installing Broken Steel, but BEFORE I began any of the BS quests.

Eventually I get around to doing the BS quests. During the final quest, just as I step off a certain vehicle, in the process entering a previously inaccessible area, guess whose body I find on the floor in front of me...

I'll be honest, I found that both very confusing and yet also pretty hilarious

This happend to me with Fawkes, and i dont have any DLC at all. i just reloaded my last save and carried on
