I thought this came out a while ago. I could have SWORN I've seen it before.

Anyways, It was a good film, certainly not anything to go crazy over, but a good little thing to pass the time with.
Same, Im sure I remember watching it a few weeks back here on Escapist. Probably just deja-vu, or a different fan-film-thing.
It was probably the trailer

I feel this wouldn't make a very good marketing campaign due to the ending really.
I really enjoyed this though. I was originally linked through 8-bit theatre though as Brian Clevinger wrote it.
Really well made and full of nice nods to the rest of the series. Best fan made film I have seen this year... and probably last year too.

Hell, they deserve the funding to push it into a full web series, hell I imagine it'd be an investment if they could knock out a dvd at the end of season 1, like Red vs Blue and the like.

I imagine it's still pretty damned expensive to make however, it really looks that good.

One thing, did anyone think the actors names were made up for comedy reasons? Zak Frinfron?

Oh and kudos for the 'achievement unlocked' at the end of the credits :D

It did come out a while ago and I could've sworn I saw it on these forums. Still good though.
I think it was part of this. I saw that too.
The only thing more Falloutish on film is A Boy and his Dog... or maybe Book of Eli.

Well, that was a very interesting piece and the actors seemed too good for the low-budget effects that were interspersed with the rest of the piece.

I think that I've seen the girl that played Scarlett (Tybee Diskin) before somewhere, but I can't place it. With a figure like that, it would be hard for me to forget.
Maybe this will help jog your memory:

That was really well done, the survivors could've stood to be a bit more unkempt and dirty though. Small nitpicking, but I felt like they stuck out too much because they were too...clean.

Entertaining nonetheless
This is my only criticism for this film. It kept bugging me how clean some of the clothing was... Scarlet's white top actually being white? Come on! Just throw the costumes in the dirt and stomp on them a bit before putting them on.

Anyway this was really good and creative. :D

I really liked it, wonder if they will do another Fallout fan film.

I don't think Bethesda will sue but I wonder about Malcolm McDowell and if he knows he's in this.

also one more thing they really should have opened with the "War Never Changes" line

The only problem I have with it, is that the number of total vaults they gave wasn't right. It was 127, not 122.

I still don't know if 127 included Vault 0 or not.
Vault 0 is the future location of NORAD, unless I read that wrong. It's the bigwig military type Vault. I'm also sure it's the home location of the Brotherhood of Steel(The East Coast folks were thrown out of the Brotherhood proper).

I don;t think it does. wasn't vault 0 all hush hush and secret government robots

I'm going off the Vault 0 page on the wiki

It says it was for the great mind to be cryofrozen and then hooked up to a super computer called the calculator

This is awesome. I'd totally go see a full-feature 2 hours long movie of this if it showed up in theatre... Also fallout'd be a lot funnier like this.
