Ok guys, I'm really curious as to just how buggy New Vegas really is. So, what I would like to do is to have everybody who has played the game for at least five hours to give a list of all of the bugs/glitches you've seen so far, and your system. I'm not looking for a bashing of the game, but I want to know if the stigma of bugginess is warranted or not.
I'll start, of course. Here's my experience with the PS3 version:
-when leaving Goodsprings, I came across a coyote who floated in the air, and one was catapulted into the sky after shooting it.
-the game crashed on several occasions
-here's a bizarre one: upon entering New Vegas for the first time, the player's weapons were confiscated. My companion at the time was Boone, and after getting our weapons back, I noticed that Boone's rifle was in my inventory, but I couldn't return it to him. When I dropped it, I noticed the text was red, hence I "stole" it. I couldn't even use it, as it used some strange ammo I had never come across, despite it technically being a hunting rifle. Long rant short, Boone is now less likely to exterminate every living thing in sight.
-After the Come Fly With Me quest (that's the sending-ghouls-off-into-space quest), all of the rockets were still in my inventory.
-After entering Searchlight, Boone (now without rifle) went batshit and ran off to fight some enemy halfway across the map (no exaggeration). I could not see said enemies, but Boone did in fact kill several ghouls, dogs, and scorpions.
So, am I just one of the lucky ones, or is the game not nearly as bug-ridden as is often claimed?
