Hey all you escapians.

When Fallout New Vegas I was planning on getting it for the 360, but the stories about the glitches turned me off.

So I was just wondering, Have most of the glitches on 360 been fixed yet? How glitchy is the game still?

It's much better than it was. Load times can still be a *****, and I do run into the occasional glitch, but no more than I did with Fallout 3. Install to your console hard drive and you should manage.

I don't know about the 360 version but the PC version has been well patched and works rather flawlessly.

I think there were more glitches in the PC versions than the console ones, but I only had a few crashes whilst playing, so I'm probably a little bit biased by my own experience.

I think it was fixed some months after it came out though. So you should be more or less alright.

Still the occasional glitch here and there, but good luck finding a totally flawless game on that engine. It's totally playable. Haven't got the DLC yet though, so I can't vouch for whether or not that affects things.

I don't know about the 360 version, but my copy of the PS3 version is close to getting traded in towards a copy of Bulletstorm. In other words, it's still a buggy, glitchy, ball-busting mess.

I have yet to buy the DLC, but the game is fairly playable. About the same amount of bugs you'd find in the current patch of Fallout 3. So it's not very noticeable, though the only things I have found are items that are permanently stuck in your inventory.
(But hey it's still less buggy than DO:2)

The only bug I get caught out by is the bug where if you go into vats and try to shoot while reloading a gun, or if you haven't completely finished the animation. If you do so, the enemy will just shoot the crap out of you while your character finishes the reload animation very, very slowly.

Avoid that, and you should be fine.

the glitches were never annoying its just a bunch of people overeating
LMFAO did you mean to say "overreacting"?
i agree, the minor gitchyness is nothing, i'm about as annoyed at their pissing and moaning over their game-breakers as THEY are at the glitches themselves. only speaking for the PS3 version, though... and i honestly didn't have a single glitch or freeze in the Dead Money DLC. surprisingly, if you've played any of the Fallout 3 DLC (especially Point Lookout)you know what i mean....

i'mma go overeat at some other people now. OM-NOM-NOM

Its funny that people who ***** about Obsidian games constantly about bugs seem to be the same people who deny the obvious flaws of Dragon Age 2. One must be held to the standards of their work, but I guess that doesn't apply to the internet.

Non Sequiter out of the way, the game is fine. Go out and play it.

I only have it on the PS3 and it's still a bit glitchy but I don't think it's nearly as bad as it was before the patches were released. Right now it's probably as good as it's going to get.

I had no problems tell i got the dlc than it crashes every 40 min
Edit: if it works then you are luckey. I had no problems when if frist came out. Have it for ps3 only but how it works is if you get a good copy
