Fallout New Vegas Help

Ok, so I recently got the game "Fallout New Vegas" and some weird things began to happen. For some reason, when I try to continue my game, it freezes, and the game isn't that scratched. So I tried to simply load the last save, but it said that the save needed a download and I can't use it. This download must be the Classic Pack that I received from buying the game (remember, I didn't preorder it, but the copy I bought at gamestop still had the code for it). So I tried to keep going but it wouldn't work. So I have the strange feeling that this may be happening because I was not supposed to have the classic pack. Is there anyone else who had this problem, and how did you fix it?

On topic, a few people got this. I too, received the classic pack, even though I didn't pre-order. Mine works fine. I'm guessing it's just another of the MANY bugs in this game. Try starting it up again, and switch the console/PC off and on again?

You could just delete the DLC, then reinstall it? As, with all DL items you can re-download them afterwards.

That's all I can think of.

New Vegas has been having countless load errors. I don't know if you can save your... save, but I hear always saving (not using autosave) and not playing the game past a few autosaves is the best solution.

The problem wouldn't be the DLC. I didn't preorder it and the Classic Pack was in the game case. The problem would be with the save or the DLC got corrupted or something.

Go to the main tab on the dashboard ( The one you select "Play game" on ) And go to the system tab, select memory, then games and find the Classic pack download. Delete it, then head back to the market place and re-download it. If it's not on the market place, either re-type the code, or look on Account management and go to download history. Account management can be found on the guide, under "Profile" Tab, or on the same tab as your Avatar is, on the dashboard.

Yeah, because then you get in a situation where your furthest progressed save is a dead one and your most recent manual save is quite a ways back.
