Hello everyone. I just bought the honest hearts DLC for fallout new Vegas, but when I loaded up my save and reached the northern passage no one was there and rubble was blocking the entrance. Is this supposed to happen? If not, anyone know how to fix it?

Yeah, i've heard bad things about it, but it was on sale for $3 on steam. As for the fix, ill give that a try right now.

You shouldn't have to 
I'm assuming you own new vegas on steam as well, since steam's version of Honest Crap likely doesn't work with any other version.
OH I KNOW!
You'll have to let the game run for a few minutes after you start it before the honest shit is loaded. You'll get an in game message (a la any fall out dlc) and then you'll be able to start that dreadful pile of disappointment.

Well to be honest, i mostly hate it because it didn't live up to my expectations. When i heard the burned man was in it, i was just expecting...More. And some of the cooliest places you could see (a plane crashed into a cliff as an example) you couldn't get to, etc...
It's worth 3 dollars to be honest. Not the 10 I paid though. Maybe it's personal taste as well, but I honestly didn't care for it at all, and most of my friends were disappointed as well.

now i have the xbox version. But both me and my friends happened to love it! there are some problems of course and strange design choices. Overall it was fairly enjoyable.
The Burned Man, in my opinion was fantastic. But then again, while i knew about the burned man i didn't know what to expect. Overall i did enjoy it. But i beat it rather quickly.

Alright, fair enough. BTW the games bean running for ten minutes now, and no message, should it be taking this long? Also, what type of message should i be looking for? will a messenger run up to me or what? (Sorry for all the questions, this is my first fallout game)
You'll get a message in the top left saying something about a radio station iirc, and there should be a popup in the middle of the screen telling you honest hearts is loaded... iirc that is...
I poked around a little bit, some people are mentioning having to reboot the game and then waiting up to 15 minutes. For me, I got the message in under five

A message will pop up out of nowhere saying "Honest Hearts has been loaded, level cap raised by 5". Or something similar. As for how long it takes, not sure. Didn't take too long for me. Probably a better place to ask this would be the official forums.
And I liked it. Mainly because it didn't knock me the fuck out and take all my damn items, but instead let me choose what to take. And the DLC overall was pretty fun.

There are so many different problems and solutions, I can't even begin to showcase them all. I can second the opinion of checking different forums. The Beth official, Steam forums, all have a lot of information. The Beth forums even have a special section FOR DLC bugs (Ahem). Good luck.

Well I personally loved Honest Hearts, they turned Jishua into a very human person whose life had been turned upside down and now he needed something to redeem himself.
The best thing about Honest Hearts is the final decision because both outcomes literally are neither better or worse than the other, it really depends on personal preference.

I recently purchased the ultimate edition for the 360, and am currently at level 23. I've been almost everywhere, but haven't recieved any radio signals that will let me play the extra levels. Is there a minimum level I need to be at?
