Fallout New Vegas Mods

So finally got round to playing fallout new vegas after picking up on sale yonks ago, just tried to apply some nice looking mods from the nexus site to try and spruce the game up a bit and every time i launch it crashes. Anyone recommend a good selection of mods that don't conflict?

If your crashing your probably doing something wrong. Just because a mod conflicts, rarely causes a crash.

Try downloading loot and wrye bash. With Loot auto sorts your mods to reduce conflicts, and bash creates a patch for your mods.

That being said, it really depends on what you want to do. Nvec, adds a *lot* of content and is fairly easy to install. Nvac is also a must. Think of nvac as an error catching mod. Instead of an error causing a crash, it will instead allow you to play through it. It really is a great tool.
