Um, I was just wondering, you know the way in fallout 3 if you got it for a console instead of the pc you got completely fucked over about all the extra stuff you COULD have gotten with the mods if you went the pc route. does anyone else think they should take all the best mods for fallout 3 and incorporate them in new vegas?

Yeah, we got fucked over. That's definitely what happened

/sarcasm.

I just want a mod where I can choose to look like Dolph Lundgren instead of having to manually do it

mods are created by the community, and the pc community is creative and talented, while the console community is angry and homophobic.

and no i dont think they should steal all the hopeful indie developers work and put it in the new game.
and if they bought the right to the mods, i still dont think they should put them in the game, many of the mods made fallout a completely different game.

It's using the same engine, probably with the same SDK to generate content, so it wouldn't surprise me if the same modding tools were in play for PC users.

You're still pretty much fucked if you've got it for PS3 or 360, but that's the price (an extra ten bucks, even!) you pay for being a console gamer in the first place.

I find it unlikely, they could do it, but I would bet a lot of money they won't.

I could get it for PC and play with a controller, but the achievement whore in me screams when I think those thoughts.

Anyway, its not like there is some shady way I could get it for console and then get it for free on pc, no such shady way ARRRRRRRRR! *cough cough* sorry, as I was saying, no such shady way that exists at all.

Way to generalise! I think you'll find that the 'console community' you're talking about is only found in the matchmaking areas of Halo.

I wouldn't mind having mods in the game, but of course some wouldn't really work because of the specific location they were in (i.e. they wouldn't work if moved elsewhere)

Thank god you realise its only certain ares of Halo that are like that, Me and my friends stay thankfully neutral to anything non-game related when playing Halo (or most other games) if only more people did that............

OT: I would get it on PC but it would have no chance at working so i'm stuck with a nice ole' vanilla console version

.

That was a rather ignorant generalisation.

I'd love to see Bethesda use some of the animation mods, as they are better than thier own animations.

I don't think thats fair at all. It also seems quite unnecessary. Are you calling me angry and homophobic? To quote Hunter S. Thompson, "ARE YOU PREJUDICED!?"

OT; I actually agree with what you said afterwards, that they actually change the game quite significantly so I can't see how they would implement them without drastically changing the series.(Talking of the big ones of course)

alright guys i feel i own you guys an explanation, first off it was 35% joking, secondly , i own both an xbox and ps3 and each and every time i play online on either i hear some form of racisms, ignorance, homophobia, threats or general evilness, not always meant for me but its there none the less, the only games where i once in awhile haven't experienced it was smaller online games where it may just be you and a other guy or while playing with friends.

also melon hunter, i hope your reply was mostly sarcastic as calling me out on generalizing (its with a "z") while saying that what i said applied to all halo players, is either delicious sarcasm or mere ignorance.

Yeah, it was a sarcastic response. Sorry, from your comment I thought you were a PC elitist. And I'm British, so I spell it with an s, not a z.
