Fallout New Vegas problems with new patch

I am really just wondering if anyone else is having this issue

so they released a patch with steam to fix a few issues, after I downloaded it it seems that my autosave fuction dosn't work I have to rely on quicksave which is really annoying

anyone else got this?

This is why instead of patching the game officially, I decided to stick with the user made patches.

And I think the patching was handled by Bethesda. Which honestly isn't a step up, its a step sideways.

I don't really see how that is annoying. I'm quicksaving every ten steps I take. After all, pressing F5 doesn't slow anything down, it just does it while you keep right on playing.

What I do wish is that they'd give us five or more quicksave slots, though.

Fallout 3 had the same problem. Sometimes the patches broke more things than they fixed.
I'd stick with user made patches.
