The last three are speculated to be future add ons for Fallout: New Veags.

Edit: I take it back. I meant all four are speculated to be future add ons for Fallout: New Vegas

Minor easter eggs. Still prefer the graffiti in FO3...behind the best door ever....:)

Awesome. I love how this game have so many little things to find if you just look around a bit. Even though they might not need anything, it is a good way to make the player think and try to come up with an explanation.

The Spirit of 2277 I'm pretty sure is just a reference to F03. The others are significant; they hint at future DLC. The one's pertaining to Courier 6 are referring to the player, and were likely made by Ulysses, another courier who will likely play a large road later. The "Lonesome Road" is speculated to be the final DLC for New Vegas, taking elements that had been hinted at/developed in preceding DLC and drawing definitive conclusion to the game.

My favourite was the one that said "Joshua Graham lives". God did that guy sound cool in the Van Buren design docs.

Isn't Spirit of 2277 referring to the first battle of Hoover Dam when the Legion attack across the dam and the NCR fell back to Boulder City and ambushed them there?

This is my thinking. Especially considering it's painted at Hoover Dam.

The canyon wreckage freaked me out the first time I saw it - like someone was intentionally trying to keep me in the Mojave for some reason and taunting me with being able to leave.
I don't know what it is, but I want to see it explored.

The canyon wreckage is related to the hints you get in Primm from the guy that runs the courier service. For a recap just go and ask him if there was anything unusual about the job you got.

Know what? When I first saw that graffiti it reminded me of some kind of famous sign during WW2. So I looked it up and turned out to be the "Kilroy Was Here" graffitis. I know, it doesn't look like them, there are no similarities. Still, I somehow get a KWH vibe when I look at them.

Figures.

Go back and ask him about it, he has quite an interesting story about how you got the job. A reference to the other courier is in the epilogue of the Dead Money DLC, pretty much guaranteeing that 'Canyon Wreckage' is a future plot point.

Also, there is some Latin graffiti on the northern side of the commander's building in Cottonwood Cove, anyone have a translation? It kicks off my Wild Wasteland marker but I don't have a clue what the reference is. This thread seems the perfect time to ask people...

I wish their would be a continuous DLC like Fallout 3' Broken Steel, they better or I may not buy their new DLC!

He is another courier. Also first battle of Hoover dam took place in 2277. Not a fallout 3 reference.
I read his entry...Im still a little confused, do we ever get a mention of this guy in NV other than the conversation with the guy in prim? (where you ask him what was strange about the job you got) I havnt played Dead money what role does Ulysses play in that?

The ones at canyon barrier are references to future dlc. A cut companion named Ulysses, was also a courier, the one who gave up the platinum chip job, and recommended 6 (you) for the job. The divide is a reference to the grand canyon, where this dlc is set to take place.

Info: dead money ending+game file examination.

Next DLC is about dem mormons and the burned man. It's gonna be interesting.

I am sure they are all hints towards future dlc apart from spirit of 2277 which I thought was a reference to the battle where the NCR held off the legion at hoover dam.
