without him you would never have gone into New Vegas and would enver have been realised by the major factions. Without him, you would've delivered the chip, gotten paid, then been off on your merry way. Plus the actual chip he did steal from you is very important to the story, especially to Mr House. Plus for me he offered good dialogue, and I thought Matthew Perry did a good job voicing him, which is strange considering how much I dislike Friends.rockyoumonkeys said:Anything can set a plot in motion. I guess I'm mostly referring to the fact that they got Matthew Perry to voice him and he's largely an arbitrary character. He's just not that important to the plot beyond the fact that he's just some thug who shoots you in the face at the beginning of the game and then becomes completely irrelevant.ChupathingyX said:Uhhhh he set the plot in motion what do you mean useless? He's the reason you got involved in the storyline in the first place. Also if you let him go Caesar's legion will capture him and then you can face him in the arena. I'm pretty sure that would be considered a " final confrontation".rockyoumonkeys said:Kept letting him go figuring there would be some final confrontation, and there wasn't.
Seriously, that character was useless in that game.
You're talking like the story is real, like you couldn't POSSIBLY have a reason to go into New Vegas without having Evil Matthew Perry shooting you in the face first.ChupathingyX said:without him you would never have gone into New Vegas and would enver have been realised by the major factions. Straight to the point, I like that.LordCuthberton said:I killed him.
Well that's the thing, you only went intot he Mojave to deliver the package, because of him you ended up staying a little longer. Of course you could visit New Vegas for different reasons, but you didn't, you had a job to do and benny got in the way. Saying Benny is irrelevant is kinda like saying Gavrilo Princip was irrelevant to WWI (Ok that was a bad analogy, but it was the first thing that came to mind).rockyoumonkeys said:You're talking like the story is real, like you couldn't POSSIBLY have a reason to go into New Vegas without having Evil Matthew Perry shooting you in the face first.
It's the cleanest way to eliminate him - the casino doesn't go hostile, even his bodyguards won't say boo and you don't even need a weapon.ChaoticKraus said:Lured him with mah sexy lady and cut him up.
Seems like i was not the only one. What is it with escapists and pretending to be seducing women?
