fallout NV freezes

Sheesh, and people wonder why they say computer gaming is dying (they aren't tho, I know)... after reading all these 'helpful' suggestions, I see why people are buying consoles.

So much effort just to play a game sucks.

Most of these complaints are coming from consoles. New Vegas is an equal opportunity bug fest (I'll still be buying the GOTY edition).

I'm talking about this thread.

Tho here and the other threads have many console guys saying no problem (12 hours into new vagas and no crashes or freezing for me) , I am just referring to the lingo of the PC gamers here. It hardly seems worth learning a new language just for mods and a keyboard mouse interface. Oh, and slightly better graphics.

I am not so savvy as to be able to keep up. Hence I can understand easily why people can prefer consoles.

But Civ IV (and many others) would never work on a console, so I will never stop being a PC gamer too. It just sucks having to do so much work to play newer games.

I have suffered 1 game lockup and 3 CTD's since installing the game 12 hours ago. To be fair, I have been doing a lot of alt-tabbing between the game and other things and Fallout 3 never liked that either.

That Abomination in the sight of God and Man that some insist on calling 'Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel'... and others call 'a cheap attempt at a cash grab by InterPlay that failed miserably and deservedly so as InterPlay kept taking Black Isle off proposed Fallout 3 start ups to vomit out another IWD expansion, so fuck em'... but the latter is a bit too long for me so I stick with 'that console thing'.

meh played it all day on my 360...called it a night when it auto-saved, then when it came back the right thumbstick wouldn't work, have to reload my last save which i (like a dumbass) had let go for about 3 hrs >.<
