I wish I heard of this mod sooner, it looks awesome. Although I wonder if my current compter could run Skyrim at all low settings without blowing up. Stupid Intel internal Graphics. WHY WOULD THEY PUT THEM IN THE SAME CHIP AS THE CPU?! IT GETS SO HOT!
It's Intel's fault that you bought a computer without a dedicated graphics card?
It was the best laptop in my price range. It has an i5. I stand by my statement that it is a design flaw.
Shouldn't of got a laptop, man. No one who is serious about PC gaming gets a laptop for gaming.

Clearly he's not serious about gaming, then, and is instead just a person who likes to play PC games.

I'm not sure why that would be a bad thing.

Get fallout new vegas, he made mods for that too and that game runs with ye olde gamebryo engine...

I figure the reason why Mr. velicky wasn't hired by Bethesda is that they figured that he wasn't all that fast in designing his stuff. I mean, he's obviously ready to work ridiculous hours for low pay but you gotta work at superhuman speed as well :p

Prettymuch.
If they'd just stop making them already we could end the dedicated/integrated graphics problem entirely, people only buy them out of ignorance in the first place since nobody ever 'wanted' integrated graphics, but Intel puts them in the vast majority of their high end product line nowadays, just so they can charge £200+ per unit and get sales on the idea that you can game with just one chip.. which just isn't acceptable for most people and they end up spending more anyway so it's kind of scummy, and exploitative really.

Good to see he got what he wanted in the end. I've downloaded the mod, but have yet to play it. But I've heard nothing but good things about it... except from bethesda fanboys who say it really isn't that impressive.

I know, I'm not that serious about it anymore. Usually when I play any video games anymore it's either PS2 or 3DS games. It said it could turbo boost the VRAM up to a GB when needed, I never took into account how much heat that would produce. I think the fact that it was overlooked vexes me more than not being able to play games.

Actually, Bungie is one of those companies that knows talent when they see it. Seriously, if they think you got what it takes, they won't be afraid to hire you.

Good for him. Just hope the job will live up to his expectations.
As for Falskaar; I tried it, though I found it to be... lacking. The map was huge, but there was hardly anything in it.
On the other hand I never completed it, so I'm not one to judge. Did a few quests and ran straight through to get back to Skyrim. Still, I can imagine it took a lot of work.

I don't think it's so much about Intel's integration of graphics processing technology, as much as you just did not possess the proper equipment to play the game.
It may not meet requirements yes, but putting two components that let off a lot of heat together in a small space is not the smartest idea in the world. Especially when you're trying to slow entropy to create a lasting product.

Too bad it was Bungie who picked him up. Not a fan of their games.

Glad to see he was hired anyhow.
