Family superstitions

Every family has a tradition but does your family have and superstitions? Is it bad luck to let the cat eat after midnight? Should you turn the radio off when you drive pass a cemetary? Share with us please.

I'll admit my family has a strange one that my grandmother started. Whenever we lose something like keys or a book, we recite a poem that basically entails threatening to cut the Devils nether-regions if he doesnt help out.

Mostly my family doesn't believe in superstition - they prefer religion.

Some would say thats the same thing.

they would but they wont..not here at least.

We had the usual. Don't walk under ladders (but to be honest, isn't that just common sense? What if it falls?) and my old favourite "If you pull a face and the wind changes, it'll stay like that".

I was told that one when I was younger, funny thing was I believed it. It also didn't help that we had a children's book which had two kids looking for the wind that changed so they could get their faces back...

Wow I just went really off track there.

Back to the topic, no my family doesn't have any superstitions, religion or much of a heritage. Yeah we are a boring family.
