My friends and I were sharing family traditions, and I was surprised that I was the only one with a few of them. So, my question is then, do you have any family traditions?

I don't have any. If we do, I haven't noticed them, nor do I care about them.

No.

None at all really, my dad tries to keep me away from his side of the family because they are crazy, I only really know my Nana and Papa and my uncle and auntie but they live in Australia. My mums side don't have traditions from what I can see.

Thanksgiving at Grandma's, Christmas at Grandma's.

Those are the only two family traditions that I can pull off the top of my head, actually.

None that I'm aware of. I haven't really spent a lot of time with my family in recent years. I look forward to making new ones with a family of my own some day though.

Naming traditions, but other than that, no.

My father's family gives all the boys the name 'James' somewhere. My dad is James B. Jr., his dad is James B. Sr, my little brother is B. James, etc.

My mother's gives all the firstborn girls flower names. My grandmother is Rosario (Rose), my mom is ROSEanne, and I'm Summer Violet. *shrug*

Eh, we all still go to Mass as a family on christmas eve. That's pretty much the only time of year I'd even consider tolerating it. Oh and we always have turkey at christmas. Actually, just Christmas in general really.

I have a pretty close knit family, but I don't think we have any traditions.

Well, we usually go to my nan's on Christmas. That's about it. Oh, and every other Sunday, for dinner.

Getting wasted at the fourth of July, and when we have a family reunion every year we sit around a campfire in my family's hunting grounds and sing country songs and get wasted. Whenever there is a family get together it involves alcohol.
