So if someone hypothetically wanted to write a fan letter to his or her favorite Japanese game designer, how would this hypothetical and totally not me person go about it? Should such mail go directly to the game developer in Japan, or to the American branch? Also, assume that said person knows a little bit of Japanese, but trying to write a letter would be kind of like trying to run the hundred-meter wearing hockey skates. Any advice would be helpful, that is if I really knew someone like this and the whole situation weren't totally and completely hypothetical, seriously you guize.
Also, while we're on the subject, have you ever sent anyone a fan letter, and did they write back? I once sent a letter to an author I admire looking for writing advice, and she and I are actually good friends now.
Edit: Might as well kill this, mods, no one seems interested.
