Now, I love fan Service...to a degree. I like it when little things are given to fans of the series, Like Metal Gear Solid Rising FINALLY letting us play as the cyborg ninja. Okay it's Raiden but you can't win them all.

However...

Mammoth breasts, breast physics, digital breast mapping.

GOOD GOD! Is this kind of fan service necessary? If game developers are starting to try to appeal to female gamers, why are they still focusing on this? It's not a 'staple' of the genre any more than porn is a staple of movies. It's a part of movies but it's not the only part by any means.

You know I would like it better if they just scrapped jiggle physics. Not only is it unnecessary but it's weird and the way the boobs bounce around just freak me the f**k out, and crotch physics would just add to the problem. They can have attractive leads without the creepy physics yeesh those guys are creepy... I don't know why I felt the need to sensor myself, but I did.

Honestly, boobs don't really need a physics engine - they'll get by just fine with a sub-routine. Unless she's pretty ridiculously endowed, so long as she's wearing a bra they'll pretty much just stay with her.

Of course, going by the standards of character design, this is almost never the case...

now be honest... do you REALLY want that? I doubt even girls would find that attractive, I guess muscle physics were in God of War 3 for Kratos but most of that game was male-directed fanservice.
I'll make you a deal, I'm currently in college for game design and if i get my own company I promise to make one of my main characters a great fanservice for girls... I do fear the inevitable Yaoi that will come from that.

Anyway breast physics is just a side effect of technological fetishism substituting for any kind of artistic creativity in most mainstream games. Give it a few years and people will probably calm down and start doing games that are more than tech demos.

but if a girl is cosplaying for some reason that becomes insanely attractive, possibly because it's the impossible and possible combining to create a perfect fantasy.
I think girls get this too because when I was dressed as Travis Touchdown at a convention, girls were giving me phone numbers left and right.
